“The View” With Sass? The Braxton Sisters Are Working On A Daytime Talk Show

Everybody is trying to get in on the talk show business right now, including the Braxton sisters.  Millions of viewers already tune in to Wetv faithfully each week to watch Traci, Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and even Miss E argue, hug it out, sing, and plenty more, and now the sisters are thinking they can get just as many people to watch them on a daily talk show.

“Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina are all in LA right now, pitching a talk show,” a Los Angeles TV executive told The Huffington Post. “Think ‘The View’ but with a lot of sass! There will be the Braxton sisters’ version of ‘Hot Topics,’ called ‘Spill the T,’ plus gossip, relationships, fashion, makeover segments and celebrity guests. They have even gotten their mom to do an ‘Ask Mommy’ advice segment. A fun, fun show.”

This actually doesn’t sound like a bad idea. The Braxtons are definitely entertaining and without Tamar, they should be able to keep things tame, yet entertaining, on the set without overdoing it. It will be interesting to see what network might be interested in picking this up as there aren’t any talk shows on air with a group of all-black hosts.  I like that idea.

It looks like the sisters are close to making this happen too. A family friend told HuffPost:

“Toni is totally into it, as is the rest of the family. They have somehow managed to secure Rob Dauber, a veteran of ‘The Rosie Show,’ ‘Oprah’ and ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ to be executive producer and make them the next daytime hit. Plus, you know they are going to have one hell of a theme song!”

That is true. Would you watch a Braxton Family Values talk show?

Sounds like fun! just keep Over-the-Top Tamar out of it. I can’t stomach her.

  • Janay

IF the Momma was on it too. She seems to have a lot of wisdom.

  • Janay

    I think that’s a great idea! I’m watching!

  • Jane

They are entertaining on the reality show to a point but them giving advice I really don’t think so. To say they’ve go a few screws loose is an understatement.

  • dbatt001

    ummm…………absolutely!

  • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

I would watch just to see Trina.

  • gracie

Hope Tamar is excluded she’s quit annoying

  • NONEYA

Toni is the most talented & Trina is the best looking!

I would def watch but don’t know how long it would last :(

  • Na Na

as I think about it I don’t think I would be interested in this talk show. the ladies are hilarious on their reality show but I’m not seeing this translate well into daytime talk.

Without Tamar, yea I’ll give it a chance. She just does way too much. So many times I want to tell Tamar “Child, hush”.

  • Camika

I would definitely watch a Braxton’s talk show!

  • Dee

    Sounds like a GREAT show!

Towanda is serving up serious face and body, honey. Giving us nubian goddess realness.

    • NONEYA

      Her hair/weaves need a make over….ASAP!!

  • kierah

Yes they are entertaining on their show, but I really think a talk show would be a mistake. Let’s face it – none of the Braxton sisters seem like the sharpest crayons in the box.

    • Na Na

That was my thoughts exactly! I’m not sure I’d be willing to take advice or endorsements about serious stuff from them.

  • Kells

I will not be watching… This is whats wrong with the society now a days.. Every and anyone with a platform think they can give advice. If entertaining is what you do then do it but anything beyond that is a no no. Half these ppls lives are a damn mess anyway… Please

  • baddvixentype

Towanda has the best body, hands down!

    • TRUTH IS

Her wig is too much…looking manly IMO. I thought the one sitting next to her is more shapely and softer on the eyes. Tamar pose is saying I should be the star of the show….she needs to have a seat way way in the back….she is just too much
