Another Reason We Love The President: Obama Sheds Tears Thanking Chicago Campaign Staff

November 9, 2012  |

Barack Obama is just truly one of a kind. So many politicians end up looking like nothing more than robots to their respective constituents as it becomes clear they’re all about power instead of people, but Barack Obama showed yesterday that he is all about the people.

Speaking to his Chicago staff after winning Tuesday’s election, the President gave a very emotional thank you to everyone there for their hard work and even shed tears telling them:

“When I come here and look at all of you, it’s not that you remind me of myself. It’s that you’re so much better than I am in so many ways. You’re smarter, you’re more organized, you’re more effective and I’m absolutely confident that you’re going to do amazing things….That’s why even before last night’s results I felt like the work that I had done in running for office had come full circle because the work you have done proves that the work I’m doing is important and I’m very proud of that and proud of you.”

You have to watch the video to appreciate just how truly genuine this man is. Check it out here.

Just in case you have forgotten: Obama spent more than $ 1 billion- in marketing campaign for his reelection. Keep loving, yeah…

I just love this man! If I didn’t respect Michelle so much I would be applying for a Monica Lewinsky White House position.

I actually cried watching this. He definitely doesn’t take his reelection for granted

Ahh! A man not afraid to cry. Actually, he probably does it often having to live in that fishbowl. Black families get scrutinized more than others…….pray for them.

I don’t even understand how is it possible not to love him… I don’t!!!

I could think of some choice words to describe the people who were mad at him after Tuesday, but instead, I’ll just say that hate must come from fear.

Just like to add that, whoever didn’t know this four years ago ( that he would serve two terms) is not alright in the head.
