Insecure because you don’t have big boobs, commercial-worthy hair or an impeccable sense of style? Don’t worry: when it comes to looks, men can actually be more perceptive than you think. There are plenty of small, seemingly unattractive details that men love.

Soft belly

We spend hours every day trying to trim and tone our stomachs, but men don’t really like a hard, defined stomach. They like a little softness to grab onto, or rest their head on in bed. Physical softness translates to softness of personality to men—to a sense of maternity. And they love that.

Wrinkles

Stop dropping hundreds of dollars on anti-wrinkle cream. Perhaps once you hit your forties it is okay, but women as young as twenty panic too much. A completely smooth, wrinkle-free face can look too young to a man. A few wrinkles, on the other hand, signify experience. Which to a man automatically means experience in bed, and that’s a turn on.

"Stretch marks pf"

Stretch marks

To you, they’re embarrassing and need to be covered up. To him, they are signs of fertility—they remind him of the fact that your body evolved from childlike to womanly, and that’s hot. Men also love stretch marks because usually, your guy is the only one that has the pleasure of seeing them! And he likes that intimacy.

Small boobs

Small boobs are usually perky boobs, and perky boobs are a sign of fertility and a woman that has yet to have children. Most men prefer perkiness to size for this reason.

"Underwear pf"

Mismatched underwear

You try to coordinate some lacy panties and bra, but men actually like catching you in your mismatched underwear. It looks like you weren’t planning on having sex, which is an ego boost for men because they somehow persuaded you to.

Smudged makeup

Men love a little of that morning smudge that comes from forgetting to wash your face the night before. It gives you that after-sex glow.

Grown-out roots

You could save a lot of money by cutting your visits to the salon in half. Men see grown-out roots as a bit of roughness and unkemptness, which can be hot in a woman. The woman with the constantly perfect hair is usually also the uptight woman.

Baggy PJ’s

When you stop putting on those little negliges and bring out your comfy sweats and t-shirts from past beloved events, it shows you’re confident about yourself, which a man finds Hot.

"Woman trying on jeans pf"

Muffin top

Stop torturing yourself to slip effortlessly into skinny jeans. A small muffin top reminds a man you have curves, which indicate fertility.

"Barefoot woman pf"

Barefoot
Whether it’s after dinner at his place, or walking home from a club, men love a woman that finally says, “Screw it!” to her uncomfortable heels and goes barefoot. There’s also something intimate about a bare foot. It’s like a hint of nudity.

"Woman in glasses pf"

Glasses

Stop thinking your glasses are to your detriment, refusing to go out without contacts. Most men find them attractive! Whether it’s because you have a fashionable pair, or because they remind them of their sweet elementary school librarian, men love a nice pair of specs.

Simple clothes

Men love a flattering pair of jeans and a comfortable t-shirt that shows just a little of the shape of your boobs. All they want is the basic information: does she have a good body? Too elaborate of clothing is only distracting to them, and even hints a lack of confidence.

Scars

A man likes to know that you have experience and struggles in your past, and that you’re not ashamed of it. A visible scar, unattended to by plastic surgery of correction cream can be very attractive.

An opinion

Men like a woman that doesn’t shut her mouth for the comfort of others, or to make others like her. Wear your opinions proudly. A man would rather be entertained yet challenged, then appeased yet bored.

    Muffin top…

My boyfriend hates stretch marks more than anything.. he doesn’t love them at all. I don’t have any though, so I don’t have to worry about it.

  • gmarie

as for matching underwear, or quality of underwear in general..No, men don’t care but they do notice. if it looks nice they will comment. So while it isn’t a deal breaker to 99% of straight men, going that extra mile is noted.

  • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

It’s only ‘ridiculous’ because you greatly care what men think of you.

For some twisted reason, I really don’t believe all those. I don’t know what men like most of those things.

  • NeaJ

lol that statement is so contradictory.any women That likes men, whether they want to admit it or not on some level cares what men think.

        • Nikki

          I know I do…

          • Kay

Right! Shes over here in this fairy talk land where women don’t value a mans opinon. If that was true hair salons, nail salons, short asss dresses, lingerie, makeup all that wouldn’t exist. Women want men to think highly of them, it’s in our nature.

            • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

No one is in ‘fairy talk land’. I am just not a woman who values a man’s opinion as much as some other women do. From a very young age, girls are taught to attribute their self worth to what the opposite gender thinks. I am just advocating that women not do that. It is not in our nature to want men to think highly of us. This comes from socialization.

            • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

You are more than welcome to live your live trying to please men and placing a high value on their opinions. If you get your hair done, nails and toes done, wear ‘short asss dresses’, wear lingerie and makeup just to achieve having men think highly of you, then I can only assume you aren’t offering much else. Not all of us women hold men’s opinions in such high regard. Rest assured that very, very few male centric sites are writing articles, telling men what women like and asking men to mold themselves to fit so tightly into what women like.

              • Nikki

My father’s opinion is the only male opinion I hold in high regard. When I’m in a relationship, I care about what he thinks of me -just like I would want him to care about what I think of him. I do all of that beauty stuff for myself because I feel good when I pamper myself. Maybe I’m young and naive…

I think you’re misinterpreting this whole thing.

              • Kay

Whatever regardless of what I say youre going to twist it into your little feminist ( I’m independent and don’t need no man)agenda

                • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

Lol (no, not really)! I am not a feminist and you obviously know nothing about feminism.

              • Irritated

You are more than welcomed to stfu 🙂

                • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

                  You’re f*cking deranged.

  • ugh

i can’t click thru 15 pages, seriously MN, you could put 5 on one page and get 3 clicks from me, but I’m not clicking through 10 or more pages when each page barely more than one complete sentence.

    • ANTMilf

Thank you, I get carpal tunnel syndrome clicking through 15 pages! Can’t all 15 things be on one page?

Think about the biggest woman you can think of with a rack of kids thats ghetto as hell and looks like she stank…Ever asked yourself “who stuck their d*** in that?!?!” exactly ladies…..exactly …..we just dont care

  • Nikki

I don’t know about guys enjoying stretch marks.

    • LOL… when I read that, I thought of Katt Williams when he said “Men don’t care about stretch marks! It means one of two things: you were either big and got small, or you were small and got big! Either way, we f*&kin! Either way!”

  • Sheena

Awwwwwww another crappy 15 from Julia 🙁 only got to slide 2. All these advertisements not going to keep paying if your readers aren’t actually gonna click through them!

    • Sharri

That is why I use AdBlocker, no more annoying adds or videos,

  • Cleo

I don’t believe half of these especially the one about wrinkles, really?? Why do so many men prefer dating younger women then?

    • Kiyoko Kayo Hisoka

Younger women are easier to control.

      • Yep and they have “less baggage” i.e. requirements and adult responsibilities.

  • rena

Such a great list. To bad I don’t feel like clicking through all those pages. The undergarments thing makes sense. I never thought about it like that. Not only do I have this thing where my undergarments have to match my socks have to match & coordinate with my undergarments smh.

    • Cinnamon71

Me too, Rena. I have to color coodinate everything. I like when all of my clothing matches and goes together.
