Does He Have To Tell You Everything? Six Things Your Man Won’t Say…But Expects You To Know

November 4, 2012  |

You’ve been with your guy for about 6 months now, and you’ve even had the “boyfriend/girlfriend” talk (do people still do that?). Anyway, you think you know all there is to know about him – his mother’s maiden name, his likes and dislikes, his favorite cereal, etc. But men will never truly reveal everything to you, no matter how much he may like – or even love – you. It’s not that he’s keeping secrets or doesn’t trust you – it’s usually a case of him wanting to you to figure it out or just “know” him as time goes on. If you’re totally into him and care about him, there are some things you’ll just naturally pick up on; but if you have preconceived notions about your boo, you might not ever be able to understand him the way you possibly could. Whether it’s been months, or years, here are just a few things men won’t tell you – they just want you to “know.”

I LOL @ the “women are crazy” part. A good guyfriend of mines says females are “cray” and reading that made me think of him. I told him “men are from mars, women are from venus” and he was like, w/e, women and men need to find common ground here on earth. ha ha. Great article tho!

    • Nope

Hell, most women think other women are crazy and can’t stand one another. So just imagine how the average man feels.

It is rather insulting to think that a man chooses to love a woman despite him thinking that she and all other women are ‘crazy’.

I see both myself and my husband in this article. Thank u Mademnoire

I see me and husband also. Obviously this was written to inform us of how our men really feel if they are foreal about us. My husband calls me crazy occasionally but it’s not because I’m going ham but simply because I’m bold enough to say things like if my fball team loses he needs to get naked so I can relieve the stress they cause me during the game ( that’s just 1 example) but ladies don’t let this article offend u, if u got a good one take notes!

You can’t tell people what they can and cannot allow to offend them. There was nothing about this article that makes it worthy of taking notes.

Sick of the generalization that all/most women are overly emotional “creatures”. Everyone is emotional. The differences is that men have taught from a very early age NOT to express their emotions while women are encouraged to (or at least not reprimanded for it). 80% of the carp people think is either intrinsically male or female is simple conditioning and learned behavior. Evolve…anything that’s not growing is dead.

Exactly. People must understand that from an early age, we are socialized to behave under certain roles.

women are intrinsically more emotional but that is not a bad thing. men can be distant and lacking when it comes nuturing family and personal relationships. These emotions are not bad, they are needed in order to form a society. Women should stop trying to be like men emotionally but embrace their femininity, they are considered the better half for a reason.

Wow, what a surprise a woman dismissing criticism of woman as “generalizing”. But if an article says all women are beautiful, smart, and lovely then it’s taken as fact. smh.
