Well, it’s here! Despite the storm on the East Coast, Apple delivered its new iPad Mini today.
The device has sold out online, but Reuters reported that lines for the Mini are shorter than for previous Apple products. Small lines were to be expected in New York, New Jersey, and other areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, as many other people were still waiting in line for gas, food, and power charging stations.
Reviews for the device came out last week and were mostly positive, though people were upset that the price seemed high. Some in the industry have speculated that the relatively small interest in Apple’s iPad Mini may be due to the price, the proliferation of tablets, or possibly people losing interest in Apple and its products.
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Apple fans on his show last night, calling people who buy this iPad Mini “suckers.” But many people did brave the lines, even in New York and New Jersey, or ordered online, so what do you think? Will you get an iPad Mini? Why or why not?
