Halloween Horrors: Memorable Celebrity Halloween Costumes
*Random Kendra story* When I was in 3rd grade my mother didn’t want us celebrating Halloween or dressing up for it at my school’s Halloween party. So, my sister Kelli and I decided to hide a costume in my bookbag anyway. When it came time to get dressed for the party I put on my leotard and a sheer scarf around my hips and when my teacher asked me what I was, I proudly shouted: “An exotic dancer!!” Thinking that an “exotic dancer” was a ballerina that did dances “you know, like the ones in Coming to America.”
I mean, who doesn’t like to stunt when you’re going out for Halloween? Though I embarrassed myself and my mother when she surprised me at school and saw me in my “costume” (oh the shame that covered her face…), some celebrities get to go all out. Now, with all that said, let’s look at a few celebrities and some of their memorable costumes.
For her annual Halloween party in 2008, Heidi Klum donned full blue make-up, extra arms and amputated limbs and heads to make this costume.
Diddy and Holly Robinson Peete
You’re getting a two for one on this one. While portraying the iconic music phenom that is Prince, both Diddy and Holly rocked that purple suit and curly wig. Diddy did get extra points from me for striking that pose. Now, if only I could hear Holly offer Charlie Murphy some pancakes…
Known for wearing provocative outfits on stage, Ms. Perry dressed down in a nerd costume at the 2010 at the Kids Choice awards.
Known for her role in the hit CW show “The Vampire Diaries,” Katerina decided to glam up her costume as a sexi vampire.
Perez Hilton was always a fan of Lady Gaga, before she jumped on the scene with “Poker Face.” So, why not pay homage to her with a Halloween costume?
Katie Couric as Donald Trump
Though Donald Trump is… ugh (*eye roll)… yeah… Anyway, Katie Couric did do a good job with her costume.
The songstress got her inspiration from the X-Men’s Storm.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
The couple went with the theme milk and cookies and they look adorable.
The former MTV VJ and current television personality went as Napoleon Dynamite.
Rick Fox and Eliza Dushuku
Knowing that they had to go hard at Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, Rick Fox and Eliza Dushuku posed for cameras looking like a ghastly version of Bonnie and Clyde.
Now, before you throw things at me, Kim did look nice as Wonder Woman in 2008.
While performing at Halloween bash, Eve donned a sexed up version of a corrections officer.
For all you “Toy Story 2 & 3 fans,” yes, Gwen Stefani is dressed like Jesse the Cowgirl!
Jessica Alba, Cash Warren and Honor
To continue with Disney and Pixar movies, here are the Alba-Warrens dressed up full Incredibles-style.
