I mean, the bleeding just doesn’t stop for Tameka Raymond. She and Usher were just in court Thursday regarding child custody but it looks like Tameka is on her way back. This time, it;s for not paying the rent at one of her businesses.

Antelope Valley Plaza has filed an eviction suit against Meek Meek for not paying the rent where she owns Kangazoom, an indoor children’s play center.  According to AVP, she signed a two year lease in 2010 where she agreed to pay $9.966.67 per month in rent. But according to papers obtained by TMZ, Tameka hasn’t paid in months and now owes…$36, 943.92 in back rent.  Not only that but AVP also says she owes more than $4,000 in late charges and $2,000 in unpaid taxes bringing the total to $49, 816.18. These folks are not playing and they want their money.

At this time, the only thing Tameka or her lawyers are saying is that Antelope Valley Plaza is the one in breach of contract and they’re looking to have the case dismissed.

If we do quick but slightly inaccurate mathematics, it seems the last time Tameka paid rent was around the time her son Kile was injured in the boating accident (he later died after his heart stopped). Could it be that with so much going on she somehow forgot to pay her rent? Maybe?

Who really knows but there’s clearly a downward spiral going on with Meek Meek Raymond. Hopefully, she’ll allow people in to help her and get everything back on track. No one can do it alone, girl.

just the fact that madamenoire is still “reporting” negative news about a woman who lost her child a few months ago along with all of the other tragic things that she has had to endure this year, is distasteful and classless.

I agree. This is very tacky and uncouth.

  • dbatt001

Damn ….just damn, you put this on yourself Tameka but I still feel for you. Usher a mess too. I wouldn’t touch him with a hundred foot poll.

  • Deebee

Why are we talking about this poor women’s business. Must be a slow news week.

  • Kayo Halana Malie

This isn’t the ‘Devil’. ‘God’ and prayer won’t help her. SHE has to help herself.

    I can’t stand this woman ..

    • bits

with that face i can see why!

  • Guest360

I would feel bad for her, however, while she spent all that time going after Usher, playing the role of the jealous ex-wife, she should have been trying to get her life in order and taking a moment to grieve the loss of her son. I don’t like to say bad things about people in turmoil but the woman needs something to get her head back on straight. Hopefully she goes to therapy and tries to figure all this out

To whom much is given much is required. I pray for much strength for this woman. I can only imagine the strength one must have to lose a husband and child to death two more to your ex have financial troubles and then all of that so publicly. It’s so easy for hateful people to comment and judge people they don’t know. I bet if she were the famous one and not usher comments would go alot different. Misery loves company. My prayers are to usher and tameka.

If I were stupid, I would say somebody put a root on her.

  • klynn

Such a strong woman, I know God won’t give you more than you can take, and he will never forsake you. All of this is nothing but the devil, ain’t nobody mad but satan. Prayer will see you through Ms. Tameka, at the end of the storm, look for your rainbow. All things are possible through Christ Jesus. The devil is a lier…

These people don’t care about her personal life! They want their money. That’s just business. It is her obligation to take care of her businesses. And why is usher paying for her to live somewhere and she has her own business?

  • 1Val

God bless her. Your troubles don’t last always they just stay for a little while.

    • Kayo Halana Malie

Why is ‘God’ putting her through this in the first place?

      • 1Val

Whatever issues you have with God are between you and your God. If you are seeking spiritual guidance contact a theologian.

        • Kayo Halana Malie

We don’t all believe in that stuff. I have no ‘God’ and am not seeking ‘spiritual guidance’.

  • Gimmeabreak78

Wow. Perspective is a very important thing. I feel so good about my life right now. I wish Tameka the very best in hers. Hopefully, at the end of this, she will be wiser and stronger. God bless her.

  • ANTMilf

More like the worst year ever. She lost her son this past summer lost custody of her 2 sons with Usher and now this.

  • Meyaka

Sometimes meeka, you have to go all the way down,to get back up. Keep your head up…

  • shera

I feel bad for her she hasn’t even had time to deal with her sons death. Usher a dirty dog for what he is putting her thru. He don’t want to pay her no child support so he wants to have custody. She needs her other kids right now to lose one so tragically and then here come usher tryin to take the rest what a stab in the heart.

    • Jussjess

So because she is going through a trying time he should give up his custody of his child. Please, enough with the sob stories. Ladies are always quick to blame males for something out of their zone, as a female, I am guilty myself. But, this is one time that he can not be blamed. SHE has to find a way to cope on her own and EVERYONE not just her has to move on.

      • FAMURattler85

        I wish I could “like”this twice.

      • Kayo Halana Malie

What are the ‘zones’ that women and men have?

    • FAMURattler85

The boys are Usher’s kids too. Why shouldn’t he have custody of them? Children are not always better off with their mothers.I’m a living example of that. I’m glad the court decided to grant custody to my father. Maybe Tameka doesn’t want to pay child support and wants to collect a check from Usher. Have you thought about that?

    • Candacey Doris

Don’t go blaming Usher. He wants to have his kids and it’s his right as a father. She may be having a tough time but that doesn’t mean that she should have custody of the kids. What she needs is to get her life in order. Pay that rent, mourn her child, and stay out of the news for awhile.
