Score! Bob Whitfield Ordered To Pay Sheree $75K In Back Child Support

It only took four seasons, and probably an even longer time than we know, for Sheree Whitfield to finally go after her ex-husband, former NFL star Bob Whitfield, for child support money owed to her. Now, the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star is finally getting what’s due to her children because according to TMZ, Bob has just 21 days to pay her the $75,000 owed in overdue child support.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ … Bob admits he failed to make 38 monthly child support payments of $2,142 to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star … more than $81k.

Bob claimed he simply didn’t have the money — and had asked the court to lower his obligation … but that was denied.

Now, the two sides have struck a deal in which Bob has agreed to hand over $75k before Nov. 11 … or face the consequences in court.

In addition to the $75k, Bob has also agreed to pay $1,000 per month for the next 12 months — before reverting back to the original $2,142.

In TMZ’s snarky fashion, they added a little “fun fact” at the end of their report noting that back in 2000, Bob signed a six-year, approximately $30 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Read between the lines: there’s no reason he should be anywhere near broke as he claims 12 years later. Ah well, at least Sheree’s children will finally get the money they’re due and hopefully he’ll keep up with future payments. It also sounds like she made a good move, passing on Phaedra’s legal counsel and getting a new lawyer.

    He knew he was going to have to pay her eventually. When I watched him stick his tongue out at her after court I knew this was just another way to piss her off.

    So,she got 75k to buy materialistic stuff and try to keep up with The Joneses? Isn’t this the same woman that was carrying about thousands of dollars worth of Birkin,Gucci,Chanel,Dior, bag while her son was sleeping on the floor? Is this the same woman who was driving a luxury car(Ashton Martin)while her son was sleeping on the floor? Is this the same woman who would rather try to keep up with the rest of The Housewives(when she doesn’t have as much money as)while her son sleep on the floor? This is the same woman who didn’t know what size shoe her son wear…Pathetic!!!

      All of your comments are very valid, but the fact remains, he is their father and should pay his child support. He is not incapable or without he money, he just chose not to. Whatever Sheree has done, you can’t deny she provided a roof over her children’s head, clothed and feed them and provided for their needs. Maybe she should cut the materialism, but she still has been their sole provider for too long.

    Not that I know this woman personally but from the way she has represented herself on the show she looks like the type to blow that child support money in a month on some shoes, purses and other silly things.

    :Yes, if he did sign a 30 million dollar contract. He does owe the child support and should pay, he squandered his money on foolishness like most athletes and entertainers do. I believe these athletes gets a pension (not for sure child support can be taken out of that) and retirement. Who is next on the list for owing back child support or broke?

    That’s good I’m happy for her. I’m also happy she left the show bc her personal issues didn’t need to become so public it seemed to have played with her confidence a bit and made her a jealous person to her co-stars. I hope she finds happiness and learn to live within her means. It seems like the show turned her into someone she isn’t by trying to keep up with the Jones’s

    I’m glad she finally got her child support, but I’m hoping she’ll use the money for her children and not her “lifestyle.”

      I agree. Child support if for the child, not to maintain her lifestyle. Which is why some of the women set these guys up get pregnant and hit the lottery and get rich off these guys.

      I am too.. I didn’t like how Bob did her in the park that day when he told her she had money to buy 12k bags she should be able to take care of things… I was always pro Bob because I thought he was a decent person but after seeing that I changed my mind. I hope she manages that 75k well and not blow it like she did the 900k settlement.
