Madame On The Street: Should You Be Honest About The Number Of People You’ve Slept With?

When you’re in a new relationship, there are some pieces of information you just have to divulge. Whether or not you have children, whether you’re still married and certainly if you have a disease. But there are a couple of pieces of information that fall into the gray area, like whether or not you should be honest about the number of sexual partners you’ve had. We posed this question to some New Yorkers. See what they had to say.

    Yeah, it is important. Dishonesty of that nature makes a person look at you side ways. If you lie about that I can only wonder what else you are lying about.

    If someone asks you that–leave. Been there-done that. That person is insecure and no matter what you say (if you say anything) it will be a problem. Either its too many or not enough so you’re lieing, if you don’t answer you’re hiding something–no answer will be the right answer and the topic will always come up again.

      The past is the past. But some people like to run through people. I want to know your number so I can gage your character.

        That’s quite contradictory. If the past is the past–why bring it up? And how do you gauge someone’s character based on something you will never know is true or false?

    All but 2 women wanted to hide the truth because they are ashamed of how many men have ran thru them while the men were willing to be honest. Black women have alot of skeletons in their closets.

      Uh, good luck with that theory on black women…I can’t count on one hand the amount of white women I knew who claimed to be virgins but had been on their knees for more than a dozen men. But if you are this insecure–please leave black women alone–we’ll appreciate you all the more for it!!!!!

    I have never asked a man how many people has he slept with. I can’t say I want to know out of fear of high numbers. I’m more into his s e x u a l appetite and se xu al health. Do you feel the need to sleep with random women, are you always out looking for a piece of meat, does your entire life revolve around s e x, have you been faithful in your past relationship, are you a serial cheater…… I can’t with thirsty dude. Me on the other hand i’m still on one hand and that’s all you need to know plus the one I don’t count lol. I had s e x with a drunk ” little” pinky finger little guy before and it was hardly s e x, and I don’t count it as !

    As far as should you be honest ? Yes even if your “honest” is it’s not your business or concern !
