Keep It On The Down Low: Celebs Who Manage To Keep A (Kind Of) Low Profile!

Part of the job of being a celebrity is that you’re often photographed when you’re out.  However, some people just seem to find their way into entertainment news way too often. But you also have those who, although you see their picture taken, you don’t often hear much else from them…unless they want you to.

Thats what Kerry wore to the Emmys? She looked marvelous! WOW! thats why i love her and have had a girl crush on her for years now!

Madamenoire, you missed the mark with this list. Low profile, to me, means rarely seen (random out in public pics or at industry events) or limited one on one interviews. Who you should have included on this list:
Sade…she never does interviews, she is never seen out and about. This women managed to have a child without anyone seeing her pregnant or with anyone.
    Prince…need I say more!

Alicia Keys & Lebron James?! This list is off…

I expected Denzel to be mentioned in this, since in his GQ interview, he said he didn’t feel the need to be seen everywhere. I like that. I respect the celebrities who treat their jobs like what it is: a job. Some of them act like what they do for a living is who they are; so they have to be seen at every red carpet event, making every tabloid cover, tweeting every thought that occurs to them, taking pictures of their breakfast. A lot of them would stay ouf of trouble if only they’d do their job, then go home at the end of the day.

You get my vote. I’d be the Haley’s Comet of Hollywood if i were a high-profile celeb ..okay, maybe “once in a lifetime” is a bit of an exaggeration, but not by far!! I’d have to agree w/Denzel; staying relevant is producing good, quality work, not force-feeding us images of your face ad nauseam …where is the mystique in that?!

WHACK list!!! So is this list just hip hoppers and a hoopster? No other actors/actresses other than Idris and Ms. Kerry keep their private life tight-lipped? What about Denzel, Derek Luke, Erykah Badu, etc? I could go on. You never hear much about these and scores of other black celebs in the tabloids. I mean come on, now. Eminem?? Didn’t we just have to endure listening to him bragging about how he “supposedly” got with Mariah last year? And didn’t we have a Lebron “Watch” most of the previous NBA season when he made a fool of himself dissing the Mavs only to lose it all and how he made his controversial move to Miami before that ? And ya’ll kept Ms. Keys in the headlines with your papparazzi dogging her and Swizz every other day. Your journalism is seriously weak.

If Kim K would follow suit I will start having respect for her.
