True Or Falsies? How To Make Your False Lashes Look Natural

- By

Now, here comes the slightly challenging part–applying adhesive to your lash strips. Remember, you need to let the adhesive set on the lash strip for a few seconds before adhering the strip to your eyelid. Use a clear or black adhesive so that you can easily blend your eyeliner over the lash strip. Put a tiny dab of the lash glue on your finger, and gently sweep the strip through the adhesive. Hold the strip between your fingertips for about five seconds before applying the lash strip.  The strip should be applied directly above your natural lash line. This makes the glue less tacky, and keeps you from getting it all over your eyelid. Hold the strip in place with your fingertip for a few seconds, or use the close end of your tweezers to secure the lash strip.

Once your lashes are on securely, you can apply your eyeliner and eyeshadow. Place the eyeliner a little above the lash strip, so that you don’t unravel the strip and cause it to fall off. If you’re going for the natural look altogether, know that nude eyeshadow, or shades that subtly complement your skin tone will make your lashes look even more demure.
