Still Ain’t Learned: Mimi Says Filming LHH Was Terrible…But She’s Still Open To Season 2

Though “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’s” first season is a wrap, the cast members are still making their media rounds to discuss everything that went down on camera. Street Disciplez caught up with Mimi Faust to see what her life is like now that her world essentially got turned upside down — though no one truly believes she didn’t know Stevie was a dog before this show. But anyway, here are a few highlights of her chat, namely her rationale for “sticking” by Stevie and returning for another season.

Filming season 1

It was terrible. It was absolutely awful.

Why she stuck with Stevie J after the show

Misconception. I didn’t stick with anything. That’s what people don’t know. I didn’t stick with anything…just because we went to therapy or you guys saw us at the park doesn’t mean I stuck with him.

Since she didn’t enjoy season 1 will she not be back for season 2

I wouldn’t say that at all. I didn’t enjoy season 1 because everything was a surprise to me. I watched it unravel and unfold just like everyone else on Monday night.

How her life has changed.

It’s bizarre. Weird men come up to me in the grocery store saying, “I wouldn’t cheat on you, Baby.”

Why after 15 years together, she only had three boxes of stuff to give back to Stevie

For scene purposes, we just took three boxes and put them in a truck so I could do the scene instead of me waiting to call 2 Men and a Truck.

Is she seeing anybody

No I’m not seeing anybody. I need a break

If she’s finally off Stevie J’s bus

I was never on Stevie J’s bus. Let’s be clear.

Is she a bad example for black women

I’m showing a young black woman how to do something different if she is in a bad situation.

How she’ll explain the show to her daughter when she’s older

It’ simple. You tell me one person who had a perfect life with a perfect relationship. Things happen in life…This is my situation.

    Girl stop it!!! YOUR “Situation” lasted for 15 years! You were a side piece to any and everybody who would take you and when you realized that people started digging up YOUR dirt you changed your tune. You say you didn’t stick with him but when Joseline gooped the hell out of you in therapy you got quiet. And you want to do impressions of Joseline. Sugar maybe if you had acted more like Joseline you would have been able to turn that butt pirate you called your man on in some way shape or form because clearly your Prepubescent shape and that strong jaw line wasn’t doing it

    Its just so sad, baby girl is still delusional! why oh why can’t she see her worth?! Why would you go to therapy “with” someone who you aren’t in a relationship with? or for that matter wanting to work out the problems in one? STOP THE CRAZY AND GET YOUR LIFE BOO! Your man (or maybe the conductor to your bus) is playing not only you and Joseline, but the other girl who was in the studio at the end (remember the one with all of the tattoos?) LOL

      But Joseline has made it very clear. Help me get to this money, give me that D.I. when I want it and we can just be friends. Joseline knows how to get what she wants and needs and Stevie will ALWAYS run back to Joseline because JOSELINE DOESN’T NEED HIM. Men hate it when you don’t need them

Stevie J will cheat on her and she will put up with it until one day Stevie J won’t be able to get it up and no other will women will want him and then finally he will be faithful and she will get what she’s always wanted because she’s simple minded like that. I’m at a loss as to why she thinks she’s better than Joseline or the rest of his baby mamas but I guess denial will do that to you.

          I suppose but I don’t any female should be ride or die particulary for someone who won’t do the same for you. i seriously doubt many of these male who go to jail would wait for a female to do her time.

      I was thinking she sounds very bitter also. Mimi work on you Stevie is who he is. And if you signed up for another season expect more of the same foolishness. You will never leave Stevie completely alone and he knows this. Until you do better you cant get or be better.

    Mimi knows full well she was on Stevie J’s “bus” and probably still is. And if season 1 was so awful, why sign up for another season of embarrassing, disrespectful behavior? If it is for the money, it shouldn’t be because MiMi says that her cleaning business is thriving. Anyway, in the words of Tamar Braxton, Mimi go get your life and stop teaching your daughter to be a doormat.

      Not only is she on Stevie J’s bus, but she’s living in his house (b/c I’m sure his name is on the mortgage/lease to that house he put her up in out in the cut away from his studio time with Joseline).
