Amber And Wiz Talk All-Natural Water Birth With XXL: “I Want Those Bragging Rights!”

I can’t lie, I love these two together, which is why I hope Amber and Wiz don’t succumb to the magazine cover curse after putting their love on display for the October/November issue of XXL.

After dropping the baby bomb at the MTV Awards a few weeks back, it was only right the pair give us all the nosy details on their parenting plans, starting with the baby’s birth. Here are a few snippets from the interview:

Amber On Giving Birth:

“I’m so ready. I’m going all-natural. I’ve decided that I’m going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine. I want those bragging rights! The next time Wiz has a stomachache or anything, I’ll say, ‘I popped out a baby all-natural.’”

Wiz On Getting Together With Amber:

“I love my baby. She’s gorgeous and it makes me look even cooler when I show how much I love her to other people… When I met Amber, she loved me for who I was. I had some money, but it was like to pay my bills and literally set myself up for a future. But I was wearing the same camo shorts and high-tops and Chucks. But she liked my swag and she liked me for who I was and I wasn’t afraid of that… She didn’t wanna date any entertainers or anybody in the business. She didn’t know who she wanted to be with, but she knew who she didn’t wanna be with.”

Amber On Wiz:

“[H]e’s just a genuine sweet guy. And that’s what made me fall in love with him. And I just said, “You know what, I don’t care if he’s a rapper.” I don’t care if people say, “Oh, you’re a gold-digger.” I don’t care if people say, “Oh, you went from one rapper to another,” or whatever. I love him. I don’t look at him as a rapper. I look at him as Cameron Thomaz, not even Wiz Khalifa. I just fell so deeply in love with him, I didn’t care what anyone says.”

    People can be so hypocritical, Being engaged is not the same as being married it just says that you intend to be some day. So basically these two are nothing more then glamorized statistics, one more pair having a baby out of wedlock and they are praised as an awsome couple. Yet a few months back Nia Long was shown in the same predicament and people went ham on her calling her all sorts of names. Honestly, I am not a fan of these two or Nia but reading through the comments I had to say something about how hypocritical people are. Not sure how one woman is scorned for her choices while another is praised for the same choice.

    I just love their love for each other. And I love the fact that she is giving an all natural birth. If i have any i would too give birth all natural :) can’t wait until these two get marry

    I wanted an all-natural birth as well…12 hours into that 40 hour labor…I became posessed- told the anesthesiologist if he didn’t hurry up there would be a serious problem…and that’s after I kicked my hubby out the room and told the nurse not to come back and “if I need you ain’t that what that d*mn buzzer is for?” Sooo good luck Amber–I hope at least you can make it!!! Lol

    Her hair is dope… LOL, at her I said the same thing until the pain hit and then I begged for the epidural. It was too late then so I ended up having my son natural. It really wasn’t that bad.. You can do it Amber

    I planned to go natural, but once those labors pains hit (and they were pumping me with this drug called patossin (sp?), to help me progress along) I immediately asked for the epidural. My mother and husband were trying to stop me and I told them to shut up or get out.
    If Amber goes through with it, she EARNED those bragging rights!!!!

      So true,pitocin.ugh!! hated it! they induced me 4 times i think they make contractions 10x stronger, a natural birth should hurt less then an induced birth, I wish they did not speed my labor along.

    They are so cute. & I like the simple look of the cover. I’m tired of seeing naked pregnant woman photoshoot lol. & I’m loving Amber’s hair. The love that ooze out of them for one another is beautiful, that baby is gonna be surrounded by lots of love for sure

    I like Wiz he seems down to earth (maybe cause he stays high) lol but I really like them as a couple they really seem to love each other and it seems to be genuine. A lot of first time moms say their gonna give birth all natural with no drugs but quickly change their minds when the pains comes but to each its own. GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!

    Awww they look cute! And KUDOS to any woman who has a natural birth! Matter fact, KUDOS to ALL mothers, because I can’t even begin to imagine labor pains! I need strong medicine just to get through my monthly!!

    HELL to the NAW. Give me meds….that what they are here for. I look at it like, why hurt? I did good by waiting to 7 cent. w my son. I dnt regret it not one bit. Everyone is different tho. More power to her.

      that’s usually the first time mothers, because I said it as well, then I was screaming fro an epidural…..which didn’t even work and I wasn’t letting them tap my spine twice so there I sat for 22 hours in a living hell. But it was worth it. Next time I’ll drug up from the beginning :)
