You Better Come Correct When Doing Rihanna’s Hair Or She Will Blast You On Twitter

After accidentally spilling the beans that she was to be on the cover of an upcoming issue of Vogue magazine, I can’t help but wonder if that’s the mag Rihanna put on blast on Twitter yesterday.

The pop singer is apparently on set for an unknown spread and it sounds like somebody might be effing her new pixie cut all the way up from the sounds of this tweet:

Well, somebody needed to say it.

In the generic “magazine’s” defense, not many black women in Hollywood have their own black hair so I’m willing to cut the glossy’s a little slack. But half the time the so-called stylists can’t even get the wigs and weaves these black celebs are rocking right and that’s just unacceptable. The last time Rihanna graced the cover of Vogue, they essentially slapped a blonde wig on her head and labeled her a black Marilyn Monroe, and no one can forget how Elle didn’t even try when it came to the wig they threw on Gabourey Sidibe back in 2010. Let’s hope these #Magazines take note of Rih Rih’s tweet and get it together.

Can you think of any white mag’s that royally jacked up a black woman’s hair on the cover?

This applies to normal black folk to. That’s why i’m wary of going to white stylists. Never been to beauty school, but I’m told they are taught how to do black hair. So why do most of them not know how to do it? maybe someone can enlighten me.

FAKE HAIR, NAILS, EYELASHES BUT HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF “I’M 100% REAL/KEEP IT REAL”…GLAD RI GOT NO FAKE T1TS BUT SHE STILL ROCKS A FAKE LOOK/STILL ON A FAKE TEAM SO STOP!!! AND SHE GOT A PUG FACE!!!! LOL.

Maybe this wack broad can do her own hair if she dont like what her stylist did! She act like she the ish….btch when u was growing up poor, did u have a choice in what stylist u had? Next time bring ur own hairdresser like everyone else does…..personally, as much hairstyles and colors Rihanna goes through, I’d be dazed & confused too! Have a SEATTTT!!!

    • mochaaa

im sure she had a choice in her stylist. she’s from barbados NOT some 3rd world country. you fckin americans always wanna act so bright.. if you see earlier pics her hair was done nicely so haul that shid.

  • toasty

Why should she hire her own whilst her white counterparts don’t have to? If the mag’s regular stylist can’t do black hair then it should be up to the mag to ensure they have someone on outsource who can. Sidenote: Death by Riri and Ashanti’s abs

  • dbatt001

    you better say that Rihanna.

  • Candacey Doris

She needs to carry her own stylist full time. Too many paparazzi to be walking around looking messed up.

I thought Ursala Stephens was her exclusive stylist.. what happened?? She kept Riri’s hair laid “for the GODS!” (In my Kid Fury voice)

  • TRUTH IS

We’ll because stylist in the industry, esp modeling, (as you can see what race dominates that industry), can only do white folks hair….why doesn’t rihanna hire her own hair stylist.

This can apply to regular folks looking for a great hair salon around their way. I live in the suburbs & finding a hair salon that can do black hair is frustrating lol. I went to one hair salon around my way, it was nice & affordable. They said they can do black hair, well after a couple of days you would have been asking me when’s the last time i got my hair done lmao. Not everybody knows how to style/care for black hair.

Maybe the stars should book their own stylist for the shoot…
