Samuel L. Jackson
With roles in blockbuster films such as the Stars Wars franchise and Iron Man 2, it’s hard to believe Samuel L. Jackson was originally going to school become a marine biologist. Later developing a love for acting, Samuel also became involved in Civil Rights Movements in the state of Georgia. In 1969, Samuel and other students held Morehouse board of trustees hostage on campus with demands for the college to fix its curriculum. They did, and Jackson was later suspended for two years due to his criminal record from the event, he later returned and earn his bachelor’s degree in drama in 1972.
