Rihanna’s Well Wishes For Her “Baby” Worked: Judge Goes Easy On Breezy For Failed Drug Test

Breezy got a big break in court yesterday, thanks to the man upstairs, by way of a few prayers from Rihanna. Though the domestic altercation between Chris and Rih Rih happened three years ago, his legal dealings are still nowhere near over, but his ex-girlfriend still has his back and it appears to be helping. As TMZ recounts the situation:

Chris was just in court for a probation progress report hearing in his felony battery of Rihanna — and according to probation report docs … Brown failed a drug test on June 18 in Virginia, where he was fulfilling his court ordered community service.

According to probation report, Chris told his probation officer he had smoked weed in California — where he has a medical marijuana prescription — and then failed the test in Virginia, where weed is illegal … prescription or no prescription.

Judge Patricia Schnegg said she never ordered Brown to undergo mandatory drug testing as part of his probation, so she cut him a break … this time … letting him off with a stern reminder to obey all laws.

Not bad. Or perhaps I should say well done, which is likely the reaction Rihanna had to the news. Before Chris’s court appearance, she sent out some very reassuring – and rather public – messages of support:

Chris isn’t totally off the hook just yet. According  to TMZ, Judge Schnegg ordered Brown to meet with his probation officer within 72 hours to sort out a discrepancy in community service hours, but that’s a small hurdle compared to the one he just surpassed. I’m sure he can expect more encouragement from Rihanna in those dealings too.

    this is hilarious to me because this is my ex and I hands down, well minus the felony abuse chargers, but we became boyfriend and girlfriend when were 12…broke up when we were 17 and going to different colleges. Now were both 27and despite relationship and etc whenever something happens you can see us at the hospital for each other instead of our significant others. I think some people just have a bond that transcends a “relationship”.

    Rihanna is hot a*s mess for those tweets! I’d be damned if my boyfriends ex was calling him baby and publicly at that. Before I was sort of in denial about rumors of Chris and Rihanna rekindling their romance but this is getting ridiculous. Kay whatever her name is really needs a backbone. And Rihanna needs to move the hell on, I mean lots of people have ex’s as friends but I don’t see them tweeting, hugging, kissing, and crying over each other.

    Yeah….it’s just a matter of time before they come right out and admit they are back together. I think Rihanna is kinda “laying the ground work” for that right now…with her recent public displays of affection towards him and these tweets…so that when they finally do go full on publicly, the public backlash won’t be to umm bad.

    Ok, he got off about the weed. But the hours of community service IS questionable because Chris could be seen driving his blue Ferrari up and down VA Beach Blvd, hanging at the oceanfront, and dropping in and out of malls causing a stir. But maybe that was after work.

    I can’t wait for all of this to be over, Chris looks stressed. I feel bad for the guy…I wonder what problem he has to get the medical marijuana card ? Maybe anxiety

If she was your mom, sis or best friend would you all still be hoping for a happy ending??? Let’s be real, yall wouldn’t! Again this isn’t to you in particular.         I’m not saying what C-Breezy did was right, at all. There’s no denying that before they broke up they were a really cute couple and whenever they sang together is was amazing. However, many people (like myself) look at the relationship between them and see that the chemistry is still there and they want to get back together but they are afraid of how the public will react.

            I definitely agree! Fact is, Rihanna and Chris were each other’s first loves and they can’t get over the good times. If they do get back together, I don’t think the relationship will be public. If I remember correctly, when she did that ABC interview she said something about she has to be a role model for the girls who keep going back. So…
