Madame On The Street: Do You Trust People Who Only Have Friends Of The Opposite Sex?

You know what they say, women can’t get along with each other and men and women can’t just be friends. So that kind of limits the friend pool. We all know men with a whole bunch of girlfriends and women who roll with nothing but dudes. But the question is, do you trust these types of people? Would you date someone, a heterosexual someone, who only had friends of the opposite sex? We posed this question to a few people on the street? See what they had to say.

    My distrust in people certainly wouldn’t come from whether or not that person only has friends of the opposite sex.

    Men and women can’t be friends unless the dude is gay. Because any staright man would be trying to tap that. Women who have men friends are ex boyfriends or some guy at one point of time was her lover. It’s never a “true friend” situation.Women use the “women keep up to much drama’ line but i don’t date chicks that have men friends. Because I know the dude is trying to tap that so why date a woman that have that kind energy around her? or she is letting dude tap it.

    I wouldn’t. I believe that men and women can be just friends, but if you only have friends of the opposite sex, that strikes me as odd. I can’t explain why, it just does. I used to hear girls in college say women are drama, but I rarely saw that in action. I assumed it was just based on insecurity. I could be wrong, but that’s just what I took from it. I have always had female friends and I will continue to keep them around. If a guy isn’t kin or doesn’t work with me, we really don’t have anything to discuss lol I’ve only had one male best friend in life and now he’s my brother in-law!
