The speculation over what new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” were going to be taking the place of Sheree Whitfield on season 5 of the show can finally end now that Bravo TV as confirmed the newcomers are indeed Kenaya Moore and Porsha Stewart.
The network dropped the news yesterday with new cast pics and bios and a semi-surprise that Kim Zolciak won’t really be a part of the crew this year, considering she isn’t even in the group promo shot. Phaedra, Kandi, Cynthia, and, of course, Nene will all be back though.
But about the new cast members. Here’s a bit of Porsha’s bio:
Porsha Stewart is a saucy southern lady and embodies the essence of a confident woman wise beyond her years. A true “Georgia Peach,” Porsha was born and raised into a prominent family in Atlanta and is the granddaughter of Civil Rights leader and philanthropist, Rev. Hosea Williams. Residing in the exclusive Buckhead community in Atlanta, Porsha is a recent bride to former NFL football player Kordell Stewart and takes prides in being a new mom to her stepson, Syre.
Kenya Moore we already know a little something about, but here’s what Bravo has to say:
Kenya Moore is the triple threat with beauty, brains and talent. Originally from Detroit, the former psychology major left Michigan with fierce drive and determination to build her own unique brand.
Perhaps most recognized for being crowned Miss USA, Kenya is also known for acting and having worked with many “A” list stars, is a film and TV producer and CEO of Moore Vision Media. She finds Atlanta to be the perfect environment to grow a business and a rich social life. Aside from being a serious career woman, Kenya enjoys writing, hitting the gym, and never passes up an opportunity to speak her mind. A hopeless romantic, Kenya is ready to start a family with her Mr. Right.
Apparently this season will focus on Nene’s budding acting career, Cynthia’s work in the world of pageants, and a “donkey booty” DVD Phaedra is working on. We’ll also see a bit more of Kim’s married life since her spin-off and observe te new love that’s developing between Kandi and her production boo. And of course, how the new ladies fit into the mix. A debut date for season 5 hasn’t been announced yet but it should be coming very soon. What do you think about the new ladies?
