Completely Inappropriate: Snoop Lights Up With His Son

September 20th, 2012 - By Veronica Wells

Source: twitter.com

This is not our normal Cute Kid Alert. This right here, is complete and utter ratchetness. The above picture is proof that Snoop Dogg Lion and his firstborn Corde Calvin Broadus do indeed get high together. Nothing like that father-son bonding time. And not only do they get high together, there’s a third party in the room documenting the quality time so it could be posted to social media. Snoop’s son, Corde posted the above picture and a few more of him getting high on his own.

Sigh.

We’ve known for decades now that Snoop gets high…like all the time; but I guess us folks with common sense just assumed that he wasn’t involving his kids in his shenanigans. Unfortunately, we were wrong.

I can see that Snoop believes that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with smoking weed, so I’m not here to question his morals or parenting skills; but rather to note that here in America, smoking marijuana is still illegal. So by smoking with your son and then posting it for the public to see, is in fact endangering his safety, even if he doesn’t believe the herb is.

What do you make of this image?

weed is all you need. tobacco is whacko! the laws should definietly be the other way around. ive never heard of anyone dying from weed…. Weed is a medicine.
at the end of the day…thats HIS son *kanye shrugg*

  • Ann

I am not surprised by that. He is setting an example for other parents to follow. Smoke weed, get high with their offspring. It is really ashame how a celebrity name with negativity can influence people decision making skills.

  • Who Cares?

As long as its not your child, it shouldn’t matter. Trust me, he was going to smoke weed anyway. Not everyone parents like you do, and they obviously don’t gaf about negative comments if they’re posting it on Twitter and Instagram.

His son does more than smoke weed those legs look like the legs of a dope fiend

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_JAI4SRENU2A5WKRTELXXYJPDSI Kayla

His son is an adult. There is nothing wrong with smoking it let alone with your son. There is only a problem because there is a stigma around weed in itself. Now ask yourself a real question, is it them smoking the problem, or the fact that they posted a picture that’s a problem. Now if it was crack then yeah.

    • Kay

So exposing your child to drugs is okay in your world? K.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_JAI4SRENU2A5WKRTELXXYJPDSI Kayla

They are both grown men. I can see it as a problem if he was 12 or 13. It’s no different then having a drink with your adult child. If his son decided after all to go to college, (I heard he decided not to go to pursue a rap career) then he would have been drinking and smoking weed anyways. It’s just weed, hardly that serious.

  • cole dark

u dn even kno if he smoken for real or not where is the smoke in the air

  • chessica450

    you
ppl take a religion/culture and disrespect it by smoking weed for the
wrong reasons then blame weed for your coonish behavior …like get your
lives grow up or sit the Fxxk down and watch some damn cartoons…Snoop
said he is rastafarian now which is like him saying he is a born again
christian or a muslim and he is following the customs of the Rastafarian
teachings….all yall running your mouth about what is right and wrong
needs to mind your own business and worry bout your own damn kids …ppl
are quick to point fingers and look and see what other ppl are doing
wrong and try to shove their ideals down their throats because your way
is the right way right? just like how everyone swears by their religion
and their cause…who said smoking weed is wrong again?? you ppl kill me
you all can just look at someone’s life and know that they are going to
fail right? because you guys are all living your lives the right way
    GTFOH!

    • She Speaks

Uh….unfortunately he was smoking like that before he was claiming to be Rastafarian.

  • chessica450

    ummm
ppl commenting have absolutely no knowledge of the Rastafarian
Religion/ culture -___- within the religion/culture to smoke Ganja is a
form of sacrament/healing of soul/spirit and also a time to
meditate/reason with JAH/God…to you onlookers on the outside casting
judgement on snoop and his son because you think you know better just
because the law officials say weed is illegal are idiots and need to
read a book and learn about different cultures…just because not
everyone is doing things YOUR way or “not normal” according to who YOU?
who made you all God? yall need to have several stadium seats and
Children within the Rastafarian culture/religion CAN SMOKE Ganja when in
worship so to speak (just like when christians during communion drink
wine which represents the blood of christ and eats the bread which
represents the body of christ….and yes this topic would make me and
expert because I grew up with Rastafarian teachings (my father is
Rastafarian …West Indies Represent!! yall just love to shove your way
of living onto other ppl dont you?

    • lola

Snoop’s son is NOT Rastafarian! So what is his excuse?

    • lee_7@hotmail.com

No one is judging. The truth is it is illegal and Snoop and his son could be thrown in jail for it. Why put your own child in danger? Follow the law or move to another country and smoke all of the weed you can.

    • http://www.facebook.com/danimari5 Danielle Edmonds

Just a small correction, in Christianity the kids don’t get wine. It’s grape juice. But I get ur religious point although I still don’t approve. I never heard the prayer piece before. Interesting. I’ll read up on it.

  • michelle Summers

I wonder how did they happen to get (take) this picture?

    • She Speaks

      Corde posted it.

  • Cadence

    Marijuana is legal in California.

  • Rose

So what?! The only thing I see wrong with this is that he is underage! But after he turns 18 LIGHT UP! N PASS THAT! LOL

  • Fresh45

I don’t see anything wrong with this. I don’t smoke but I’ve never known marijuana to be as harmful as some legal things like liquor or over the counter medicine. Willie Nelson has been smoking forever and he’s still alive. His son is 18; he was probably going to smoke anyway, since a lot of the kids his age do it and he’s from California. If marijuana has had a negative affect on how he goes about his life, then he should quit smoking but if its not, then I don’t see what the problem is. I honestly don’t know why alcohol is legal but marijuana isn’t when one seems to be more harmful than the other.

    • STARO

Wow. I heard this point made so many times, as far back as when I was 15 years old: A young man I dated (16) got high routinely with his mama, who was a correction officer. She even procurred the weed for the family get-highs. Her argument (as clear as a bell, still) was that she’d rather weed than something else; she’d rather her company than that of a gang member. Well, her beloved son met a new friend and saw no harm in adding P
CP (angel dust) to the weed mix. After all . . . he’d been doing weed for years with his own mama! Well, the monster came calling in the form of an accidental suicide: he got high on the concoction one night and all but blew his head off in front her . . . with her revolver . . . on her birthday (“Happy Birthday, Ma!”). Gory. Just 20 years old, SMH. His own mama held the door open for the monster to come in and claim what was dearest to her. 24 years later, I can’t begin to fathom the guilt or the trauma.
Weed is a gateway drug. Getting high with your children with the justification that it’s the lesser of many evils is just plain foolhardy. Why not just sit around and play Russion Roulette??? Crazy, sad behavior on the part of parent.

    • STARO

Also, I’d like to add: This type of parenting is called ‘Defeatist Parenting’ In other words, a parent feels they beat the tide of peer pressure, so they just surrender to it; encourage it and worst, participate in it.
SMH . . . you need a written test, an eye exam and a to license operate a motor vehicle. But any two fools can become parents with no hassle!!! SMH x2.

    • monitorette

Smoking marijuana can lead to the testicle cancer, as a late scientific research stated.
Legal or not, marijuana is and always will be a drug.

  • IllyPhilly

Celebs get away with a helluva lot, don’t they?

  • Tee.

Who cares? Why is this even newsworthy? That’s his kid and what he does with his kid is his business, mind yours.

    • gracie

Wait until your kid sees this and thins its cool. Kids are very likely to emulate what they see on the media and social networks.

      • gracie

        Thins=thinks sorry

    • Shauntara28

I agree. I personally never smoked weed or cigs for that matter but hey…who am I to judge. White folks have been smoking weed with their kids forever. So, stop the madness! It only becomes crazy when black people do it.

    • KJ23

I think it would be different if it was just a rumor, but they posted this so people could see. They were inviting people into their business.

  • MLS2698

What is the object/gong-looking thing that people from the Middle East smoke on? The whole family gets down with it, even the kids? I don’t think its weed.

    • Teri

      Hookah

      • MLS2698

So, maybe it was a Hookah meeting. What am I talking about…..it’s Snoop Dog.* shrug*

  • Na Na

This is just as shameful as parents who drink with their kids. Don’t be fooled by something being labeled as Illegal, in that case McDonald’s French Fries have killed more people than the Mary Jane.

I disagree because I try not to expose my son to any of my bad habits including cursing, not eating healthy etc. And I think that’s what the true issue is, not being an example of exercising common sense and using your thought processes to avoid trouble.

  • TRUTH IS

We circling the toilet yawl…….I just heard a hard flush….lol

  • KJS

Beyond shameful. If thats what he choices to do with his child fine by all means smoke your brains out but putting it on public display for my innocent child to see is doing too much. Another generation lost
