Destinee Hooker may have only picked up a sliver medal at the Olympic games in London this summer, but she got the real gold last week when she married her longtime boo in a secret ceremony. As TMZ reports it:
Hooker tells TMZ … she and her fiance Steven Coulter tied the knot at a courthouse in Texas on September 13 … but she’s not ditching her infamous name just because she got hitched.
Hooker says she loves being a “Hooker” and will simply add on to her nombre — becoming Destinee Hooker-Coulter from here on out.
The Olympic volleyball player says she and Steven tied the knot so quickly because she’s moving to Russia to play overseas, but next year the newlyweds are planning on having a bigger ceremony in San Antonio, TX.
Congrats to the Hooker-Coulters for making it official!
