He Finally Gets It: “I Think What I Need To Do Is Work On Chad.”

Chad Johnson has given his first interview since the breakdown of his relationship with Evelyn and subsequent divorce. Last night, Showtime aired the former Ochocinco’s interview with James Brown on “Inside the NFL,” and during the segment he talked about how he’s basically trying to do better.

“I’m trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I’m in situations to where I would pop off,” he said adding that he’s taking anger management classes — for the second time now. ”I think what I need to do is work on Chad.”

James asked Chad if he thought he was cut from the Miami Dolphins totally because of the domestic incident and not because of his lackluster performance during training and Chad responded:

“That was the reason. There’s no need to blow smoke up my A**.”

Yesterday, Chad and Evelyn’s divorce was finalized and Chad confirmed the story Evelyn has been telling since the domestic altercation, which is that she’s had no interraction with her now ex-husband since he headbutted her August 12. He told James Brown the two aren’t on speaking terms at all.

“There’s nothing I can say to her because she’s already heard it all … what can I say … actions speak louder than words and this is the time for me to show action.”

Hey, it’s the only job he’s got left.

  • Hello_Kitty81

Good for him, now if only he disappears from the media while he’s working on himself. Evelyn needs to do the same!

I tell you I have to agree, MadameNoire writes more on Kim Kardashian, Evelyn and Chad more than anything else. It is really ashame for a black women on line magazine that suppose to focus mainly on black women. Instead you all are doing overtime promoting these igonorant, no talent reality stars by watching these shows and give these ignorant companies a reason to promote and give tv appearance, book deals, clothing line, perfume, etc to these people. It a shame that some of us blacks don’t have not one problem writing and supporting, buying their products. When you have beautiful blacks women, men that are positive people that have legimate business, we don’t want to support it. As for Chad, I don’t feel sorry for him, I hate that he lost his job, but he knew that Evelyn was ignorant and have a foul mouth. It is not like he had blinders on. They should have not gotten married from the start with. I hope he does come to the realization that he needs to work on himself as well as Lozado, she needs help as well.

Can you please remove the stick from your behind? This is online magazine that caters to a variety of black women and discusses a variety of topics going on in the entertainment industry thus why they have an entertainment section, a love section, a hair section. So if you’re so tired of hearing about Kim K or Chad and Evelyn don’t click on the story and stick to another section. Miserable much? Geesh
