What’s Really Going On?! Evander Holyfield Owes $500K In Child Support

I lied when I said Jasmine Guy’s drama was going to be the non-child-support-paying daddy story for the week. Evander Holyfield has one-upped the actress’s ex-husband to the tenth power — literally — with the child support foolishness he has going on.

In some ways, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that Evander is behind on child support — if he ever paid at all — given the fact that in 2008 his home was being auctioned off due to foreclosure. Plus another of his baby mamas, Toi Irvin, the mother of his 10-year-old son, filed a suit not long after for non-payment of two month’s worth of child support which totaled $6,000. And on top of that, a Utah landscaping firm also wants $550,000 for services the boxer never paid. That debt is pretty on par with what Evander owes to the mother of his now-grown daughter as TMZ reports it:

As TMZ first reported, the GA. Dept. of Human Services went after Holyfield because he owed $372,097.40 in support for his 18-year-old daughter, Emani Holyfield.

But according to court docs filed recently in Georgia, that amount swelled to $563,900.91. Evander was held in contempt and ordered to immediately fork over $2,950 a month to clear the debt. Holyfield got a big head start by cutting a check for $17,700 … knocking his debt down to a cool $546,200.91.

But the payment plan is just the beginning … the judge ordered that a percentage of Holyfield’s income be earmarked to pay down the debt.

Creepy Evander’s daughter has the same name as Jasmine Guy’s, just spelled differently.

What’s even scarier, though, is the fact that Evander has at least 11 known children. If he owes this much for one of them and has already been put on blast for slipping a couple of months on another one, it probably won’t be long before nine other women come calling. He may never see a paycheck again.

    I don’t feel sorry for him or his baby mamas. I feel badly for the children, they have to suffer the most. He needs to pay his child support from any income that he generate now and in the near future. This really needs to be a lesson that men and women needs to learn. Unfortuantely, they don’t want to learn the lesson. If he didn’t want all those children he need to wear protection. The women are just as responsible as these men. Both the man and the woman need to protect themselves from having these children. Since everything is all about money and fame, some of these women intentionally get pregnant just to trap the guy and make a living off drawing child support off the guy so they won’t have to work a job they can just sit back and draw 5, 10, 15, over 20,000 per month in child support. Holyfield is just working to pay for children.

    At this point, as trifling as he is, I’m not even mad at Evander any more. I mad at baby mamas numbers 4 through infinity. Evander has repeatedly made the news over the years for his deadbeat dad antics. Why CHOOSE to be baby mama number infinity with such a deadbeat? If becoming baby mama eleventy with a man isn’t stupid, then nothing is stupid.

    …how exactly does anyone make it that long without paying what he/she owes when you are that far up in the lime-light? They can always be found smiling into someone’s camera!!! Serve them those papers on the red carpet!
