I think Regina King is one of the finest actresses on tv, black, white, asian or purple. She is really doing well on SOuthland and I’m surprised she hasn’t gotten more recognition. Not sure about this new film, because I don’t think we need anymore lukewarm, silly or badly acted Black tv shows (love and hip hop, the game, or that horrid Single Ladies), but because she is attached it will be well executed.

Re Tamika, I remember after her son died and Usher and his team said they would allow a break in the trial for her to mourn. Her team said it was just gamesmanship and they wanted to push through the trial at full speed, hoping SHE would get full custody. Looking back, sometimes you shouldn’t cut off your nose to spite your face. I hope she has help. I hope she gets off twitter, and I hope eventually they can co-parent in the most civil, healthy way possible. But its hard for me to say the judge made the WRONG decision when I remember the acrimony surrounding their custody.
