Get ready for the Kanye West show at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards coming up next month. Yeezy has come a long way from complaining about not getting any nominations or awards (remember those rants back in the day?) because this year he’s up for 17 awards at the annual show.

Essentially, Ye is nominated in almost every single one of the 19 categories from MVP of the Year, Video Director of the Year, Lyricist of the Year,  Best Hip-Hop Video, Reese’s Perfect Combo, to Best Club Banger, People’s Champ, and Hustler of the Year, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Where Kanye goes, you know Jay-Z and G.O.O.D Music follow so this could be an interesting show after all. Plus 2 Chainz is right behind his boss with 13 nominations and YMCMB front man Drake is on his heels with 11 noms.

The awards are happening October 9 at 8p with Mike Epps as the host. So far, the performers haven’t been announced but I bet we can expect lots of G.O.O.D music. Will you watch?
