Kelly Rowland is definitely having her moment. With the release of her new video, Rose Colored Glasses and album due out next year, she has been keeping her audience glued to every move. This week in particular with her killer looks, she has been stepping out at events during New York Fashion Week.
Madame Rowland is back in her rightful place–the spotlight, and it brings us pure glee to see how stunning she was at YRB’s Fall Magazine Release Party. Striking in a royal purple frock kept her most of her look subtle leaving the drama for the eyes.
Lips: Try a soft pink gloss like MAC’s Tinted Lipglass in Lust ($14.50)

Eyes: Rowland has some major smoky eye action going on. After applying an eye shadow base use an eyeshadow kit like Kat Von D’s True Romance Eyeshadow Palette ($24.00). Apply a light shimmering brown all over the lid, then a deep chocolate from the middle to the corner and blend. Rim the bottom of the lid with a plum shadow.
