Were you able to catch President Obama’s closing speech during the Democratic National Convention last night? If not, we’ve got a breakdown of the cutest, most poignant, Holy Ghost shout moments below. Check it out.

Gabby Giffords says the Pledge of Allegiance

If you watched the DNC at all, you were able to see it was an emotionally charged event. Everyone in the spot talked about the energy. But in the midst of all the excitement, there were moments that truly tugged on people’s heart strings. One of the biggest being when former U.S. Rep, Gabby Giffords, who was shot and wounded last year at a political rally, took the stage to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. She really embodies a spirit of determination and resilience that we all, regardless of our political affiliation, can relate to.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that when he was elected, republicans bluntly stated that they were going to try to make him a one-term president, did everything in their power to be an impediment to his efforts, then claim that he didn’t keep his promises. If people go for that, then Americans are some stupid sheep.

“President Obama snatched all kind of Republican wigs by mocking the ridiculousness of their tax cut solutions.”

    I died over this comment!

The speech itself was great moment from beginning to end and I couldn’t have been more proud of our POTUS. I tuned in all week to the DNC and let me say I was thoroughly impressed with Lady O, former President Clinton, VP Biden and especially President Obama and their remarks. Now if we could just get people to get out and vote and use their voice to keep the Pres in office then we our in business for another great four years.

My aunt and I caught that look on Sasha’s face too!!!! It was so funny. I love the way that this article broke it down moment by moment. There was so much energy and positivity from beginning to end from Obama, and he brought it home.

“There really is no difference between Obama and Romney, as both candidates are backed by the same establishment interests. If you are holding out hope that somehow Romney is better, you are going to have a rude awakening. For the same reason that Obama didn’t change anything from Bush, Romney won’t change anything from Obama, as these are just puppets pushing an establishment agenda that is contradictory to the people’s best interests.”

As much as TRUTH IS irritates me sometimes, because he or she knows how to take the fun out of some articles with its comments he or she is actually correct in this nature. I AM DEFINITELY voting for Pres. Obama to be re-elected however the agenda’s the same for both candidates. Pres. Obama has made the U.S. Federal Gov’t the BIGGEST supporter of Wall St. and the banking industry by supplying them with over 3 billion dollars in the form of a “bailout”. It’s just not reasonable to think because someone labels themself a Dem or a repub that they are so different than each other. All presidents and presidentials candidates attended Harvard or Yale and were apart of the Skull and Bones society, even our homie Barack.

This was an excellent article. To be honest If Mitt Romney is elected my personal world would be devastated. I get medicaid ( which Mitt and Paul want to cut). The medicaid not only pays for me and my children’s health care needs medicaid also pays for my disabled son to go to school that can address his special needs. I use federal loans to attend law school ( which he wants to cut or privatize and put into the hands of wall street to misappropriate), I collect SSDI for my son who is disabled ( which Mitt wants to cut), and my eldest son goes to public school (which Mitt wants to privatize). I would also like to add it is looking very likely that the house and senate will also be republican majority so all of Mitt’s “vision” for America WILL come to fruition. I am in for 2012, I just pray he gets reelected.
