What Is Going On In The A?! Tiny’s Nail Salon Burned Down In Fire

I know the Atlanta area is a big place and fires happen all the time, but after Tyler Perry’s ATL studio catching on fire for the second time in three months a week or two ago, it just seems odd for another celebrity to have a fire disaster not too far away. According to 11 Live News in Stockbridge, GA, T.I.’s wife, Tiny’s, nail salon caught on fire Monday morning and was destroyed in the blaze.

The Henry County Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire on Walt Stephens Road just after 5 a.m. When they arrived to the shopping center, they saw heavy smoke coming from the salon. They fought heat and tried to contain the fire before it spread to businesses next door.

Captain Sabrin Puckett said, “Fortunately fire personnel were able to control the fire before the entire contents of the structure ignited and making it much more difficult to determine the cause and origin in the investigation.”

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the nail bar to go up in flames. Hopefully it’s not something as silly and simple as a cigarette, as was the case with Tyler Perry’s second fire. What’s most important, though, is that no injuries were reported from the incident.

Oh no, that is a shame. I
know homegirl has insurance, at least I hope so. T. I. ain’t no dummy
and neither is Tiny, so I know they have fire insurance and will bounce
back from this. This is the first I’m hearing about fires breaking out
in the ATL, but I know that Madame Noire is a reliable source. It seems
like there may be some haters trying to undermine Black Businesses.
Those who control the hair and nail industry (not naming any names, but
you all know whats up) get scared when black dollars start coming to a
    halt. I smell a rat.

Burned down? Is that picture after the blaze? It doesn’t look “burned down” to me.

    Uh….Stockbridge, GA is NOT ATL….Sorry:(

    • Guest360

Actually….Stockbridge is in Metro Atlanta. It’s not uncommon to refer to cities in the metro area as “Atlanta”.

      • Googlemaps

They always do that. It will be a city way outside of Atlanta, and they still call it Atlanta. If it’s 30 mins away and in a diff county, sorry, it’s not Atlanta or the Atlanta area.

        • Guest360

Atlanta is perfectly fine to say when talking about a city within the Metro Atlanta area. This is coming from someone who lives in Marietta, 15 mins outside of Atlanta, and has never had a problem or seen any other ATLian have a problem when people talk about the metro area. Don’t see the big deal. *kanyeshrug*
