Erica Puts Them Paws On Lil Scrappy On The Cover of Rolling Out Magazine

Well looky looky, a brotha proposes to his lady finally (“So you gon’ marry a n***a???”) and now they’re displaying their love for the world to see. Lil Scrappy and his fiancée Erica are covering this month’s issue of Rolling Out and the mag sat down with the couple, and their daughter Emani, to give readers an inside look on why what seemed to be a dysfunctional union on-screen works so well in real time.

In the interview, Scrappy touched on his issues with how he was portrayed on the show, and his disappointment with the fact that people assumed he was a bad father:

“They kept saying I was a bad father,” he shared while on set for his rolling out cover shoot.

As he reviewed his photos through my camera’s viewfinder, he continued. “That was the one thing that kept getting to me. It was messed up because they heard Erica say one thing, and then they took it and ran with it. I have always been there for Erica and Emani, so it kind of got to me when they would say that…I’m not like these other baby daddy dudes out here. I really take care of mine.”

Another gem in the interview, Erica expressed what she took from her time on the series, and where she’s at right now:

“I’m in a very good place in my life right now,” she shared, while watching Scrappy take some solo photos. “I learned so much about myself through this process with the show, and now I’m just looking forward to this next chapter in my life.”

Here’s to hoping that these two will tie the knot soon (and not have like a 8-10-year engagement or some ish) and that he can keep his wandering eye on track. The two seem to be very much in love looking at these photos, and we’re happy to see that these two might actually have a shot at being a happy family for their little lady.

    I love it, I love it, I love it. Erica you are beautiful girl and to Scrappy Erica maybe a little fire cracker but you will never have to worry about her being dishonest you have a good women

    I thought Erica was better than this. I hate when people try to justify staying in a dysfunctional relationship by saying they’re “doing it for the kids”. In my humble opinion, a child is better off in a single parent home than to be in a dysfunctional, chaotic “two parent” home. Scrappy seems like a bum dude, period. He doesn’t pay his child support, has stuff in other people’s names. But I digress, I hope they can work it out and find happiness with or without each other.

    I like Erica. She had more sense than half the women on that show. I don’t think she and Scrappy will get married though. He didn’t start stepping up until she showed him that she would move on without him. Typical baby daddy he wants to make sure she’ll always want him. I hope he was sincere when he proposed. And people need to stop tripping on the size of that ring. Have you purchased a Lil’ Scrappy album lately? Me neither, he bought what he could afford.

      Right! And even if I was marrying a millionaire I wouldnt want a big superbowl looking ring. I don’t like flashy jewelry and maybe she doesnt either. people worry about the wrong things

      Total agree with most. But I like Scrappy as well! They both have some growing to do and hopefully together. He didnt need to be with Shay!

      I agree NikkitaMichelle!! I want the marriage, I am not concerned about a huge ring or anyone else’s opinions. If I just wear a wedding band, I am fine with that. :) I love simplicity.

    Smh I guess it’s cheaper for him to marry her then to pay the child support. Both of them have no common sense and are ghetto and country. Cute daughter though.

    I think Scrappy is going to have Shay as his side chick. I was surprised when Shay said that Scrappy has things in her name.

      I would have put them child support ” paws ” on him. People in the South/country have certain dialects, but it doesn’t make them senseless. But I get what you are saying about these folks.

        I wasn’t talking about the dialects. I was talking about the behaviors. Scrappy is a mess and Erica has no common sense after that. Isn’t she like baby mama #4 so she is the last one standing? I hope she doesn’t take him off of child support even with the ring on her finger until she knows their daughter is provided for.

            Nope during that fight with Stevie. Stevie said he has 5 baby mamas and Scrappy said he has 4 baby mamas. Or vice versa. Either way Scrappy said he has multiple baby mamas.
