Similar to Rene Furterer, Frédéric Fekkai’s line is designed to treat specific hair conditions (color treated, damaged, dry, normal). Their Protein Rx line, which is enriched with a unique blend of soy and milk proteins, has garnered a huge fan base, quite simply because it works. Even the shampoo is good (although a little goes a long way). The shea deep protein treatment is a miracle worker when it comes to revitalizing damaged tresses, though be warned, if you have natural hair, you’re going to end up using a lot of this product depending on your hair length and thickness. It’s great to use under a heating cap to ramp up the conditioning benefits. The Protein Rx PM repair cream is also good, although you should use only a few times a week as directed on the label. If your hair is sensitive to protein, it’s probably best to skip this treatment.

    Simply put a lot of low-end products can work just as good or better. Why just pay for a name? you can find high-quality products with natural ingredients that are not damaging or drying to your hair.

    I am already saving money by not buying weaves or having a relaxer on a regular basis so why turn around and then take what I am saving to buy high end products when their are cheaper alternatives?

    Having natural hair with five different textures I admit I was a product junkie, trying to find something that works for all of my textures without leaving some sections dry & hard. At the time I did try some more of the expensive lines but price does not always equal quality and truthfully some were so not worth the money or the time spent looking for these items for the my end result.

    Honestly for an amazing protein treatment I use Hydratherma Naturals which is available on amazon or the net. A bottle lasts forever and I have given them away.
