Rasheeda And Kirk Talk Gay Rumors, K. Michelle Beef, And Their Music Grind On The Breakfast Club

The only couple with a relatively stable relationship on “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” stopped by The Breakfast Club this morning to clear up some rumors that have followed the pair since appearing on the show. Thirty-one-year old ATL rapper Rasheeda (yes, she revealed her real age!) and her husband of 12 years, Kirk, dished on all the drama in their own marriage, problems with K. Michelle, and just how well they’re eating on Power 105.1 and I have to say I think it makes both of them seem more likable. Check out some of the highlights:

Why Rasheeda flipped on K. Michelle at the reunion

When I said what I said to her I said it to her faced based off of me forming my own opinion. I’m woman enough to say it to your face but you want to go on blogs and interviews and say kindergarten stuff. You’re bully and you need to shut up and that’s my point. I said to you what I said to you, in your face, straight up and down. Stop going behind my back and talking s**t all the time. It didn’t matter if I had 700 luggage bags, I’m a bad b***h.

Does Rasheeda really not believe K. Michelle

It was just a lot of things that didn’t add up. One minute it was please tell Toya I have a lot of love for her and I respect her, then the next minute it’s I wanna whoop this b***’s a**. Wait a minute, if a person’s character is off and on, what makes you think a person wouldn’t…i’m not saying she lied about the whole story. I wasn’t there and I don’t know.

Would Rasheeda be with Kirk if he wasn’t her manager

I am a person who is a firm believer that people who come up with you, should be with you. He’s done so much for my career. I am an underground, independent artist and I live off of my music.

Moving on to Kirk, the hosts had a lot of questions about his soft image on the show. Here’s a bit of what Rasheeda’s husband had to say about it:

Does Rasheeda run him

“They look at me like I’m laid back but I’ve got a history. I don’t like arguing all the time so I just be like you can have it….

It bothers me sometimes because when people see it…if i was to bust out and go off on Rasheeda then people would be talking about me like I’m abusing her, but then when I’m nice I’m too nice.

Would they ever sign a major deal

I rather take the guaranteed slow money. Rasheeda lives well. When you look at me on the show, the reason she hurt my feelings was because I was like you got things that rappers way bigger than you don’t got and you’ve been stable your whole career. You’ve never had to want so for you to even question what I’m doing it pisses me off.

Whether he’s gay

I don’t have nothing against anybody but the one thing about me is people know me. I don’t even play that game. If I did it, I wouldnt have a problem saying it because it’s so widely open so why would you hide it? I don’t like the closet thing.

    Rasheeda Buchner is 36 years old. We both had Ms. Moore’s biology class and Mr. Dewolf’s geography class togeher in the ninth grade at Lovejoy High in 1990-1991. I’m 36 . She came in my class as the new girl from Illinois…had a big crush on her too. She had unbelievable skills on the basketball court and she was also very smart. She was very aggresive and competitive. Me and her were always neck and neck for the highest grades in class and were best friends. She was damn near my girlfriend, but I was so damn nerdy..lol. She liked me too, which scared the hell out of me. Anyway, she only attended for that one year, then transferred to North Clayton. From then on people used to update me on what was going on with her like she was my girl. Later on I found out that she was a member of the group called “Da Kapers” then afterwards she went solo. Now I see her on TV. Crazy, but I knew that she was going to do something big. I never cared for her music, but the girl I used to know as Rasheeda Buchner was cool and I’ll always remember her.

    Rasheeda is around Kandi’s age. I can say I have a Bentley doesn’t mean I really own one. Rasheeda came to FAMU my freshman yr and she was in her late 20s then. My freshman year was 9 yrs ago. Now I didn’t major in math but umm…something don’t add up.

    I like Rasheedah, but she gave a typical response that too many have in the black community when confronted with domestic allegations of family or close friends….DENIAL! She was not there, to say what she said to K Michelle was ignorant!

    31?? yeah right. I dont get why we as females are ashamed or feel age is something to lie about or hide. I dont want to be confused with one these knuckle head, go for anything, young females. When you approach me come correct, speak to me in a correct manner, do not approach me as if im one of these young girls, because I dont carry myself that way. 40 and proud of it.

    Rasheeda should just shut up and concentrate on her own marriage because the way she talks to Kirk and then sat quietly while another woman (the record label owner) basically went off on him and said nothing IS disrespectful. The only two people who really know what happened is K. Michelle and Memphitz. Just because Rasheeda has not witnessed that type of behavior from him toward Toya doesn’t mean he didn’t do what K. Michelle said he did to her. Rasheeda also said she got Memphitz side of the story. If Memphitz felt the need to give his side to Rasheeda clearly something happened.

    I’ve never heard the gay rumors about Kirk, but I’ve been hearing them for a while now about Rasheeda. I used to like her but after the last two episodes and that reunion, I lost a lot of respect for her. Like, how can you tell somebody that they didn’t experience something like that? Even if K. was lying, no one would know but her and Memphitz!

    And also, can’t he sue her for defamation if she was lying about it? Especially since she discussed her abuse the entire season? Things that make you go “hmm….”

      Well he can’t actually sue her because she has never mentioned him buy name. The only reason we know it’s him his because a third party said she was talking about him. Even know that we know it’s him she still hasn’t said his name. Her lawyers aren’t stupid she’s been extremely careful she’s not stupid either.

    I’m just curious what Rasheeda has that more successful rappers do not. Surely not notoriety. Heck–you can be stable by getting a regular job. I never heard the gay rumors about him–I don’t get that feel (although his answer was suspect at best). I just get that he’s 100% b*tch–and I guess if she likes that then I love it.
