Blame it on regular magazine headlines like, “100 sex tricks he’ll love!” or on Adult Videos, but somewhere along the line women picked up some misguided techniques to turn a man on. Ladies: those magazine are written by women. And as for Adult Videos, men watch it because it’s just that—Adult Videos. It’s not reality. When they come to you, they want the real thing.

    Except for the exes thing, almost every one of these things is a turn-on for me (the male) and is a regular part of our sex life.
    Especially the name-calling and choking bit.

    I love how women are supposed to be so concerned about making men feel inadequate, but they can go on and on about other women’s attributes in front of us, and make every thing about us seem flawed, and we are supposed to just smile sweetly and laugh it off! Stop with the garbage so-called journalism already. This is sap-rap. I would rather read Esquire or Playboy than any women’s magazine because the women’s magazines are all absurdly condescending to the their own audience!

    This article comes across as written by someone who personally does not like these things or who is generalizing like/dislikes that most men have based on a narrow vision of masculine comfort with sexual behavior.
    Truth is, some men will find these things turn ons, some will not.
    The bigger truth is that women should only be doing these things if it’s of interest and turn-on producing for THEM and then sharing it with their partners. If their partners are turned on by her turn on, then you’ve go yourself a good thing going. If she’s only trying these things out to “please her man” without any other investment in it, nobody is likely to find much pleasure in it.

    I think it totally depends on the man and what he’s into or not. Personally my bf likes it when I rub his nipples and it turns him on just like it does me. I also read somewhere that men’s nipples are just as sensitive as women’s. To each his own :)

    not every man. my bf loves to talk obscenely dirty and spanks me when i want it without feeling weird. one of the most wonderful things about my relationship is that between us there are no holds barred. i believe the only thing i really agree with on this list is the elaborate outfits and the comparisons to exes. but then again no one likes that very much.

    “Acting Hot”? Really? My husband loves that. lol We have 2 kids running around the house so I do not look “hot” on a regular basis. Getting dolled up and being a little extra will definitely set us up for a great night! :-) The rest of this stuff…it depends on who you deal with. A friend of mine is extremely freaky. She loves all that bondage, toys and name calling stuff. I remember in college thinking that she was just joking, but she was 100% serious! Her husband doesn’t seem to have a problem with it. He’s always smiling when I see him lol

    I think you’re being too general here. You can never be sure what a guy lies until the two of you get comfortable. I’ve never had a male friend that didn’t find his girl breaking out a costume on special occasions (or just to spice things up)exciting. He might strip it off you quick, but he appreciates the thought. As for toys and the rest, that’s something each couple has to get into together. Nobody wants that sprung on them without warning.
