Nicki Minaj Brings Foxy Brown On Stage For A Little Female MC Girl Power

In a world of nearly daily disses between the likes of Azealia Banks, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Kim, it was starting to seem like all female rappers could do was beef with one another. But Nicki Minaj proved otherwise when she pulled “ill nana” rapper Foxy Brown out of the woodworks and on to the stage during her free concert in NYC last night.

Nicki had promised her fans a free event after she pulled out of Summer Jam because she felt disrespected by Hot 97′s DJ, and she held up her end of the bargain for two hours at the Roseland Ballroom Tuesday. Nicki and Foxy hit the stage together since Foxy was also supposed to perform as the ‘Roman Reloaded” rapper’s guest during Summer Jam, and at one point, Nicki took to the mic to show her love her Foxy, saying:

“I want to thank you for being one of my biggest influences in the game…there isn’t a female rapper in the world who has opened more doors for me than you.”

    Nicki was being a lil messy lmao. “You & Lauryn…” Kim is gonna be going off tomorrow on twitter/radio or something. I saw a clip of the performance else were & they were getting it on stage. When Foxy came out, Nicki ran up to her giving her a hug & rapping along w/ her. It’ll be nice to hear a new single w/ both of them

    The Nicki/Foxy relationship is one based on them both disliking Kim…nothing more. I only want Foxy to come back if Nicki promises to go away.

      But I remember during Nicki’s mix tape days, before the Kim beef started, foxy was giving Nicki props. There’s a YouTube video of them together backstage talking. So I don’t think it has anything to do w/ not liking Kim. Its one common factor, but I think it also has to do w/ Foxy being one of the few that hasn’t took Nicki’s words to heart & hasn’t thrown any shade her way…I just think about how Nicki use to always call Kim one of her biggest influences during her mix tape days. Then 1 single of Baby’s where he took Kim off & left Nicki on changed everything lol. They all could have been in stage together now.

        when Nicki came out she emulated Fox
        and tried to rap like her
        even got the asian tattoo thin like Fox
        she use to rock the wavy hair like Fox too
        the only thing she actually took from Kim is the cross over appeal!
        she strategized and revamped Kim’s look
        minus all the surgeries Kim had
        but she never rapped like Kim and still don’t!
        Nicki is way more talented…

    …Please….Ever heard that saying,”The enemy of my enemy is my friend”? That’s all that’s going on here. The only reason Nicki even approached Foxy is because of Foxy’s dislike for Kim. They have a common enemy or dislike for the same person and this is Nicki’s way of trying to stick it to Kim. The reason I say that is because let’s face it… it’s OBVIOUS that Nicki got a lot of o her influence from Kim from dress, style on stage and lyrics. There is no doubt and anyone who says anything differently has a lack of an ability to notice basic patterns and is visually impaired. Yet Nicki is now saying that no one else in the game was AS influential? Please. I love Foxy, don’t get me wrong and I believe Fox influenced a lot of people but Nicki hasn’t mimicked Foxy nearly as much as she has Kim so her statement was nothing but a spiteful gimmick.*****
