*UPDATE* VH1 Cancels Chad And Evelyn’s Reality Show, Chad Cut From Miami Dolphins

VH1 has just released a statement saying that Chad’s elimination from the Miami Dolphins isn’t the only thing that’s being cut. The network posted a response to the pair’s domestic disturbance over the weekend on their site saying that they’ve decided never to air the couple’s upcoming reality show:

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

Looks like the couple’s antics have completely caught up to them this time and VH1 is learning all reality can’t be planned. If Chad and Evelyn’s relationship couldn’t withstand a condom receipt, it certainly won’t endure unemployment and irrelevance.

Chad Johnson may be out of jail on a $2,500 bond but his troubles are far from over. The Miami Dolphins have cut the wide receiver after news of his domestic altercation with his wife Evelyn Lozada became public over the weekend.

Yesterday, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin told reporters that he planned to immediately address the situation and that he did. Why the team decided to share the news via Twitter I can’t say, but sure enough a message from the @MiamiDolphins Twitter handle hit the web at 6:16 pm yesterday, reading:

“The Miami Dolphins have terminated the contract of WR Chad Johnson.”

How Chad will respond to the news is unclear. During the domestic dispute with Evelyn Saturday night, Chad was reportedly heard yelling, “I don’t give a f—! I don’t give a f— about my career!” He may give a eff about the potential year he could spend in jail as a result of the argument and the $1,000 fine. Considering he’s now unemployed he probably needs to watch every penny. That’s if he’s found guilty of the misdemeanor domestic-abuse charge. Though the initial story to hit the press Saturday was that he head-butted Evelyn during a heated argument over a condom receipt she found, he says that she was the one who head-butted him. However things went down, the Miami police says it was pretty serious.

The argument began as the couple, who married on July 4, returned to their Davie home after shopping, the report states. In the trunk of the car, Lozada found a Walgreens receipt for condoms. The quarrel escalated, ending with the head-butt.

“She has a pretty good-size laceration on her forehead,” said Davie police Capt. Dale Engle.

Lozada said Johnson gave it to her, while Johnson countered that he was actually the recipient of the head-to-head blow. Cops apparently believed her side of the story, and arrested Johnson on battery charges just before 9 p.m.

Johnson was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident, police say.

Johnson was taken to jail, and had to wait until the next morning for a bond hearing, appearing before a Broward judge at 8:30 a.m. His bond was set at $2,500, and he was ordered to have no contact with his wife.

Evelyn’s violent past—and Chad’s squeaky clean one as far as the law is concerned—is making her a less-than empathetic victim in this whole ordeal, particularly when it comes to Jennifer Williams’ estranged husband Eric. We already knew he was a jerk from his behavior on “Basketball Wives” but he cemented the label with these tweets sent over the weekend:

Eric shade aside, neither Chad nor Evelyn’s rep have put out a formal statement on the situation. A couple of anonymous sources told the Chicago Sun Times that the two had been battling way before the wedding last month, though it’s not clear if it’s meant that their fighting was physical. Another source said they believe Chad’s head-butt was likely more of an accident than an intentional move to hurt Evelyn. However the story unfolds, it will be interesting to see how these two explain this, especially with their reality show set to premier September 3.

    Sorry sweetie. I am not the insecure. Obviously you are the one with the problem. Yes Chris Brown did hit Rhianna, but she attacked him first with her shoe and hands and has admitted to all of this. How long to do expect men to take being attacked by women? IT IS NOT OKAY.. I REPEAT IT IS NOT OKAY FOR ANY HUMAN BEING TO HIT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. However we women are delusional if we think we can constantly go around attacking men and hitting them and not expect for them to have a reaction. They are human just like us. Don’t hit anyone if you are not prepared for the consequences. I am tired of women who knowingly attack, hit, or punch a man first crying abuse when that man gets sick of it and defends himself by hitting you back. Yes it will leave a mark because he is stronger than you, hence why you should have never hit him in the first place. These women who have hit and attacked their husbands or boyfriends are just as guilty of abuse. There are women out here who are legitamately being abused by men who have never invited violence into their relationships. Rhianna, Evelyn, K Michelle etc. all admitted to inviting violence into their relationships by hitting their mates. This is not abuse. Tina Turner was abused. I watched my mother attack, hit, and punch my father for years. Then one day he did hit her back out of a reaction. He was not a woman beater nor an abuser. However if you go around hitting and punching anyone expect the consequences. Also for the record I don’t like CJ or Chris Brown at all. However if you believe it is okay to attack hit and punch a man I feel sorry for you because one day he will hit your a** back. Don’t start none won’t be none. MEN GET ABUSED TOO BY WOMEN EVERYDAY BECAUSE OF THIS SAD MENTALITY THAT IT IS OKAY FOR WOMEN TO HIT YOU AS OFTEN AS THEY WANT AND YOU SHOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING. IT IS NOT OKAY FOR A WOMAN TO PUT HER HANDS ON A MAN JUST LIKE IT IS NOT OKAY FOR A MAN TO PUT HIS HANDS ON A WOMAN. EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENSE AND IT IS NOT GENDER SPECIFIC!

    They should have never gotten married in the first place. It was a train wreck waiting to happen in seconds. I still don’t understand why in the world MAC would endorse Lozado with a make up eye shadow line. This woman has such a foul mouth and it seem like every interview that she does she always would say a cuss word. She cannot answer a question with using mf this, effing that. I am not surprised about what happened. Chad knew that his brawler girl had a foul mouth from the start with. It was not like he walked in this blindfolded. I don’t see how any man would want to be with her having such a foul mouth. Wonder how Antoine Walker put up with getting cussed out by her? As the previous person responded, people do need to be careful who they get up with . Men, just because you think a women is fine, white,mixed, Latina, etc. you don’t have to be with her. Her mouth could be just as foul as Evelyn and she can act just as ignorant. But, I know I am wasting my time and sadly people don’t want to learn the lesson.

    Even is Simple Simon (Chad) was dumb enough to leave evidence in the trunk of all places that he is still having relations with other women, that does NOT give Eve the green light to put her hands on him. They should have stayed friends and left the alter and vows alone! Clearly they passed on the pre-marital counseling.

Jen is soooooo smart to have let you go you are way to old to be playing high school games on twitter if you don’t have anything to say take several seats in the locker room!!! Back to the topic i honestly don’t think Chad mean’t to hurt her he does not come across as the violent type else we would have heard long ago and from his exes too, that aside these two are highly incompatible and should never have gotten married period
