I find some of these things a little problematic. First, people cheat period. The fact that one likes to read comic books or enjoys quantum physics does not change that. Second, it’s been my experience that guys who have been given the stereotyped “nerd” label, rarely want another “nerd” and can be just as shallow as women. This reminds me of when that singer Lloyd talked about how he couldn’t get girls when he was in high school because he was a nerd. The problem is that all of the girls he was “checking” for were the super, popular cheer leading types. He never gave the girl playing “dungeons and dragons” the time of day. With relaxed standards many of these so-called nerds could have had girlfriends all through high school. This isn’t to say that a woman shouldn’t date a nerd, but just because you want to date one doesn’t mean that they want to date you.
