For the INC International Concepts event for Camila Alves yesterday, Solange Knowles showed up wearing a very unique mix of colors and styles. She paired this creative Diane von Furstenberg skirt suit with a pair of pointed-toe pink and yellow strapped heels. The jacket had some cute bell sleeves while the skirt, though short, went for the pencil skirt look. As you can see, her box braids were long as hell, and were actually reaching down further than her skirt. I kind of wish she would have pulled her hair up or to the side in some funky style, because it’s kind of a distraction. For more sophisticated outfits like this and not something boho chic or everyday playful, box braids should be styled. But behind the hair, I think she looks nice. Steal.
