Season 2 Changes? The Love & Hip-Hop Cast Might Be Switching Up

There are only four episodes left in the first season of “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” and with the wild success that came from transporting the show from NY to ATL, the producers, i.e. Mona Scott Young, are no doubt already thinking about how to make the next season even bigger and better.

Straight from the A has an idea about how that’s going to happen. According to the site’s sources, there are already a couple of changes in place:

Rasheeda and her hubby Kirk Frost have been ride or die for each other for years but the stress and pressure of the show is slowing tearing their once strong relationship to shreds.

I heard several months ago that Kirk really wasn’t feeling the way he was being portrayed on the show and that he almost immediately regretted signing up.

That being said, Kirk will always continue to stand by his wife when it comes to her career goals and the pair would rather split up on air than in “real life,” so guess what that means?

Rasheeda stays and Kirk goes.

Kirk isn’t willing to play the reality show game so he’s stepping back in order to let Rasheeda shine.

That would probably be a good move considering how torn Rasheeda seems between her career and her companion. If she takes on new management like she’s seriously considering there won’t be a need for Dirk on the show anyway and they’ll hopefully have a better chance of keeping their love intact. That’s a change I definitely support but the next possibility is a bit more iffy.

When no one knew who was going to be on the first season of the show, Lil Scrappy’s ex-girlfriend Diamond, who is often a topic of discussion, was rumored to be joining the cast but supposedly had a change of heart. Now, word is her heart has changed again and she has recruited her boyfriend, Souljah Boy, to be a part of the show with her. The way Straight from the A sees it, since she’s already such a hot topic we might as well hear her side of the story straight from the horse’s mouth, rather than in the words of Momma Dee and Scrappy. Though I feel like Souljah Boy would be way too extra as a cast member, I can actually see this panning out. Since Erika and Scrappy are broken up, there really wouldn’t be a purpose for her on the show anymore. If she and Kirk leave that opens up two vacant spots for Diamond and Souljah Boy. That would also bush Buckeey right back on the sidelines, though I’m sure her she’s about to up her antics on these last few episodes to try to land a permanent spot. I’m sure she’d still get some shine next season going at it with Diamond though so we might as well be prepared for the girl fights. Souljah and Diamond would definitely be an interesting addition.

    I want Erica to stay. I would watch the show if its the current cast minus Kirk and plus SB&Diamond. It’s Sensatainment people.

    This article is fase! Diamond did an interview on the Breakfast Club and she talked about how she doesnt want any negativity in her life and how she would never be on a show like LAHHOA! She said that she would consider having her own how like T.I. but would never jeopordize her career wth that foolery!

    Mona is going to keep her pockets fat so I know she will make a way for those two to come on the show & all hell will break loose. Kirk needs to go. He is Boring, but ERICA needs to stay. She is my favorite. Maybe this will give Scrappy a chance to man up and take care of his daughter. Maybe they can show them co-parenting or something…who knows But If Erica goes, I’m out.

      They need to let Erica stay. I like her the most too! And anyway… she needs that extra check from the show. We know Scrappy aint giving her anything. So, with her regular 9-5 and the show, she will be okay. I hope they don’t take that check from her. She needs it.

    I wish people would stop watching these shows like these. Married people should not put their lives on television. Reality shows ruins most marriages we have seen this from past episodes. Especially black marriages. Not only it ruins marriages, it also sometime break families apart. As I said time before, it is really ashame how people would sell their souls for a dollar and these people don’t even care. Everything is all about making quick money, nobody now wants to even do decent work to protray themselves in a positive way. It is amazing how you can flash a couple of dollars in their faces and they will act ignorant, cuss, and fighting. They are willing to do it to fit in with the high class lifestyle of money and greed. It is really sad.

      NOTHING can break a marriage that isn’t already broken in some why shape or form. You can’t just blame these TV shows because of a reality show. That’s just ridiculous. Are the people who signed up for this and decided not to communicate not responsible? And for real? These people acting ignorant, cussing, fighting, etc on TV are probably doing the SAME THING without the cameras. If you’re not about ratchteness and acting a fool no amount of money can make you come outta your zone like that just for entertainment purposes.

    Diamond said on the breakfast club she didn’t really see herself on the show….and if she did a show it wouldn’t be anything like this…but hey, money talks so maybe ol’ girl had a change of heart….
