Don’t make your relationship “Facebook Official” …
…unless you’re sure that it is truly a relationship that has potential for something long term and not some 2 month fling. There’s nothing that makes a person seem more unstable than an ever changing relationship status. We all have that one friend who seems like she updates her relationship status as often as she changes shoes. While it seems like no big deal, having to change your relationship status from in a relationship to single for all of your 800 friends to see can be a not so pleasant experience.
Many people opt out of alerting their relationship status with their Facebook friends altogether. This is probably one of the wisest decisions. The less people know about your business, the better. However, if you must inform your “FBF” about your new boo, make sure it is legit first.
