Ladies, have you ever met a guy who you thought to be the man of your dreams until he dropped a load on you such as “I have five kids” or “My wife and I are separated, but we still live together”? Did you take the optimistic route and say to yourself, “Hey, no one is perfect,” or did you politely excuse yourself and save his number under “Don’t Answer”? Almost every woman has a list of deal breakers that she vows to never ever tolerate from a man. But, what if the guy is rich, I mean racks on racks on racks rich, or famous? Do those rules still apply? The following men seem to keep drama, a load of women, baby mothers and craziness in their lifestyle, but women still flock to be with them. Could you date them?

Eddie Murphy

One can’t mention comedy without the great Eddie Murphy coming to mind. This funny man has been responsible for having us doubled over in stitches for ages. What has many giggling these days, however, is his up and down love life. His first marriage ended in divorce, but resulted in five children. In addition to the five children that he had with his wife, he also fathered two other children, not to mention a daughter with former Spice Girl, Mel B (a little girl he denied for a long while). While we’re on the subject, we can’t forget about his fake “symbolic” marriage to Tracy Edmonds that lasted all of 16 days. Murphy is now said to be dating “106 & Park” host Rosci. Ladies, could you date a guy with 8 kids, 4 baby mamas, and a turbulent dating history such as this one?

  • Ur Fine A$$

    none of those for sure

  • La-Di-Da

These are 8 celebrity males, not 8 celebrity men. As we say at my church: male by birth, man by choice. That’s the only explanation I have for this foolishness. Btw, my answer would be no for each one of them.

  • Candacey Doris

More money, more problems, right? I couldn’t date any of these men. Having that level of drama in my life is not my thing.

  • Over It

Hey at least the “nightmare” believes in marriage…I guess…

I bet you everyone who’ve dated those guys said the same damn thing most of you guys will say. They simply cannot go against the money.

How long will black people continue to support media outlets that bash
other black people? Successful black people at that. The original
question within the article asks will you date a CELEBRITY with these
issues, and most women would. Eddie Murphy has 8 children, but dude
makes $25 million per film. So stop lying, it wouldn’t be a problem.

The true question is why is this relevant??? The majority of these
stories are not even news. Most of what’s here is 10 guys that did this
or 8 women that did that! If it was a real story… hell EVEN celebrity
news… it would be a one page story. Yet they create these ridiculous
lists so that people will have to click damn near 20 times just to read
one article… so that they can raise their “per click” rate… and in
turn make more money for advertising.

STOP SUPPORTING OUTLETS THAT BASH OUR OWN PEOPLE… It’s hard enough for black people as it is.

    • Kay

      Your too serious

    • Gimmeabreak78

And yet you contributed to the “per click rate” yourself by clicking on this page and dropping your two cents into the bucket. Please…

  • compgirl

ha! I really thought they would bring that up but they didn’t this time. I am sorry but persistent (decade plus) gay rumors about someone I am dating are a deal breaker, nvrmind any other drama…

  • compgirl

everytime I think of him I think, “that’s a grown middle school kid right there!” lol

Once you’ve been in a healthy relationship the appeal of unhealthy situations no longer appeals to you.

i dont care, celebrity or not, drama heartache and pain is drama heartache and pain. no amount of money can make me take ish off of a man with all the excess..money can run out

  • FattyFatKimye

Hey I dated men with emotional baggage and I left that baggage at the airport and moved on!

  • realadulttalk

I don’t know how Erica deals with Scrappy’s mom…I must say every ep I wanna backhand that woman…I know she and I would have fist-fought by now. I keep hearing “you left my baby for dead” in my head…bish he’s a grown man who had an asthma attack!!! I could never date a momma’s boy…you are always dating 2 people and the one you didn’t choose is making all the rules. I’ll pass!! I can’t with womanizers (there is usually something deeper going on), abusers, those who don’t take care of their kids and if you have 3 kids–that’s really like 2 too many for me. I only have one…never wanted to be Carol Brady.

    • compgirl

you had me rolling! lol #dead

  • Gimmeabreak78

To be fair, everyone in a relationship enters into it with some baggage, but good Lawd, I can’t carry al the bags these men are bringing into the equations! Multiple baby mamas? Um, that’s a no. Physically abusive? That’s a hayell no. Subtance abuse issues? Player, please. The sad thing is because many women feel that the money and/or fame these men have compensate for the massive errors in judgement/lifestyle they have become known for.

i would date NONE of them! im good without any of em..

  • xyzebra

Real talk. I would date a celeb w/baggage for a hot minute, for the attention and pricey dates. Wouldn’t take it seriously, though.

    • realadulttalk

And I can’t be mad at you for that. Lol

Jazmine, I was so tickled, laughing so hard when reading this article. I was in tears. But it is so true. I don’t think I want to date any of these guys. Sadly, as you can see, there are women who is doing it. I think it is for the money and the attention. There are many, many more guys, for example Lil’ Wayne, other pro athletes.

I couldnt date a man with a bunch of baby’s mothers, but the only thing worse than that is a man that doesn’t care about his kids. I would never date a man like that.

Money can’t buy you happiness – mess is mess! Remove yourself from drama by not creating it or accepting/inviting it in your life! Period. Point blank!
