Game Over: Tiffney Cambridge and The Game Cancel Their Wedding

“What you gone do when LOVE don’t even LOVE no more?”

That was the cryptic tweet The Game sent before announcing that he and his fiance have called off their wedding. With just ten days to go before the Big Day, they updated their wedding website with the news:

We regret to inform you that the wedding of Tiffney Cambridge & Jayceon Taylor has been cancelled.

Sister2Sister reports :

Although Game previously told S2S that he’d spent half a million dollars on the ceremony, the two “just didn’t get along,” a source said. “It just didn’t work out.”

The Game proposed to Tiffney, his girlfriend of almost eight years, in October of 2011 in front of MTV cameras, and the two were planning to marry next weekend, July 28.

It’s unclear whether Tiffney and Game have called it quits for good or if they’re planning to work through their issues and head toward matrimony at a later date.

This isn’t The Game’s first near miss in the wedding department. In 2006, he was engaged to Valeisha Butterfield, but they broke it off and he got back together with his then-ex girlfriend Tiffney. Since then, he and Tiffney had two kids.

It’s unclear if they’re still going to go through with the reality show we just found out about and thus give everyone an inside look of what went wrong, Kim Kardashian-style. It’s likely no one is going to want to watch that, but with all of the other train wrecks on VH1 what’s one more?

On a serious note, it’s always sad to hear of a breakup when children are involved. Maybe they are still working things out even though they’re not walking down the aisle. Eight years is a long time to be together, but it’s better to call of the wedding than call off the marriage.

    he’s misleading, dishonest, and cruel. i believe this is because he’s been so heartbroken in the past. sadly, his daughter will reap some of this karma, just the way it goes. trust me, i have the inside scoop.

    IF he ever gets his act together, it’ll probably be when his children are old and grey. also, it would help if he got treated for his mild bipolar disorder and worked on his many insecurities.

    get some freaking help, jayceon and grow the freak up already. look at all the broken hearts you left in the dust, chances are you let the wrong one go more than once. and tiffney was the best you’ll ever find, but you’ve destroyed it beyond repair. SHAME on you. poor children.

    you’re looking for extra fame and negative attention, do your dumb reality show. or maybe you’re hoping to trick good women into thinking you’re worthy of their time. say arrivederci to any semblance of a music career you managed to keep so far.

    Lmfao now I agree with the people that says he’s a man-child but as a person that’s close to the family she is definitely no walk in the park. She didn’t put none of his family members in the wedding, nor did she invite them to the bridal showers and what not. She also barely invited his side to the wedding period, so they both shouldn’t be getting married at all. When the show airs see if any of his family is at the wedding functions.

      Did you see the proposal video? He said he was going overseas, she can plan everything herself…so she did.

    I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend/finance’. I need to holla at that brother and R. Kelly to find out how they managed to hide a wife and financee for so long. The game, the way he acts out in public I can’t believe she even put up with him. No I will not be watching any of that foolishess. The same foolishness, ignorance different cast members.

    I cant stand The Game. He is so disrespectful and I wouldnt be surprised if she was the one who called it off. He seems like he doesnt respect women, FYI i was a huge fan before i started following him on twitter and saw how he treated his fans and women.

    It’s sad when any wedding is called off but maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. The Game seems like a total man child and that proposal seemed so dead like it wasn’t given much thought. Tiffany didn’t seem excited/happy either, maybe there’s some underlying issues still there.
