3 Surprising Truths About Men I Learned From My Guy Friends

I am so grateful that I have really great guy friends with such interesting lives. I remember last month during the Toronto edition of Battle of The Sexes one of our female guests said that platonic friendships with men cease to exist because those friends were actually just waiting for a chance to get with her. I say SO WHAT! Women are to be desired, that’s nothing to be ashamed of or concerned over. Whether my male friends are just waiting for a chance they’ll never have or genuinely cool people- I’m grateful for them same way!

I have come up with three elements of game that men rarely open up about that more women need to be hip to. Ladies I got you, class is now in session!

*Men will return to your bed even if the sex is bad

Logically it doesn’t make sense, because for women if the sex feels bad it messes up our entire day. For men if sex is bad they will still find a way to get off and feel that release and come back a few times. They return because of logistics and not logic– if the location/situation is convenient and the numbers (body measurements) add up- Hi, how you doin’?

    Here’s one that is a personal favorite of mine: I like it when I’m walking somewhere with my girl, I’m not touching her in anyway and she has her arm and hand around my waist.

    I knew about this especially the sx part. Some of my male friends would speak of their sx conquests not being too attractive, body odor, or doing something else to turn them off, but they still went through with the act, because it is more of a physical relief thing for them and they were really hungry and that woman was convienantly available. That’s why as soon as something else is available, it is so easy for them to disappear and stop calling.

      I agree. I have this discussion with a particular woman often. She swears up and down that men are driven by looks, and I tell her looks are important to a man, but it’s not the whole pie. Especially if a woman isn’t OUR woman or someone that we’re parading around, looks aren’t necessarily a priority. I’d say in order of priority, availability outranks looks a lot of times. I’d argue that women are actually more driven by looks seeing as though they judge one another’s looks as well as men’s.

    Why is it that men can play all kinds of games to stay in a woman’s panties….?? But..when a woman wants to stay in a mans wallet she is called every name in the book.

      Centuries old double standards.

        IMO, women actually benefit the most from double standards. Women opt in and out depending on the convenience of the situation. Most women just don’t like the potential consequences of those double standards or to be held accountable for their actions. Basically a lot of women think anything that doesn’t completely and positively benefit them is a “double standard”.
