More and more people are shacking up nowadays, whether after 6 months or 6 years of dating. While some require a ring and a marriage license before sharing a home, others want to test the waters before deciding on marriage – or simply don’t want to get married at all but want to live with their boo. Either way, moving in together is a VERY big deal for most people, so much so that not considering all the silly…and serious…things you’ll discover about each other could make or break your relationship. If you’ve already made up your mind that cohabitating with your sweetie is what you want to do, here are 10 things he’ll discover about you once you move in together.

    These are some really good articles but I think a person should just be their self when they first meet someone so you won’t have to go through all of this if the both of you decide to move in together.

    Living together before marriage? Marriage is a ‘we’; cohabitation is an ‘I,’ i.e, ‘If this doesn’t work for me ‘I’m’ outta here. That’s the fundamental problem. People are made in the image and likeness of God. You don’t try someone on like a pair of shoes or test drive them like a car before making a purchase. The divorce rates for people who cohabit prior to marriage are higher than for those who don’t. Having worked extensively with divorced people [read: cases involving thousands], you would be surprised how often the dating period was longer than the marriage, many times even twice as long.
