Who Gon’ Check These Two? Rumor Has It Kandi and NeNe Get Physical On Season 5 Of RHOA

When Real Housewives of Atlanta castmember NeNe Leakes tweeted “Housewives of Atlanta season 5 coming soon wit a BANG!” did she mean an actual bang like a punch?

The New York Daily News is reporting that we might see a fight next season:

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” are getting physical. A show source tells us NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss “get into a fight with production” during the filming of season five, which is currently taking place, and the scuffle will not be cut out during editing and appear when the season airs, reportedly sometime in the fall. “It’s really bad,” says the insider, who says all of the ladies “have been real divas this season.” A spokeswoman for Bravo told us: “We have not announced anything regarding season five yet.”

Although it’s not too far behind in terms of cattiness, it would be tragic if our favorite Housewives turns into Basketball Wives throwing blows on camera. Get your petitions ready now because if this is true then you know one is coming.

It would be really surprising if there was a fight this season considering NeNe claims she has a new attitude and she criticized Basketball Wives for their fighting, telling Vibe magazine:

You can say whatever y’all want about reality TV, Atlanta Housewives, we don’t do that. We definitely have had our verbal fights, but never physical fights. I can’t believe the fighting and the bullying. It looks bad. It really looks bad…When I look at it, I just can’t believe it.

Unfortunately, hearing about NeNe in a fight is still believable, but Kandi Burruss just doesn’t seem like she would be party to that level of drama.

Maybe someone is just trying to drum up publicity for the next season and get people to tune in. Or maybe the “Rich Beyotch” is making her millions this season by treating the show like a boxing ring and somehow bringing Kandi with her. Guess we’ll have to see.

    I think that the cast member has a little jealous thing going on because NeNe is getting the highesf salary. Ladies ur all making money so be thankful. If NeNe leaves the show it will be boring. She is a great entertainer. TV audience remember a lot of the bickering is done for rating.

      I don’t hate any of these ladies, but I have a hard time understanding why everyone thinks Kandie is the balanced and innocent one..she’s an instigator! I think that crown should go to Phaedra or even Cynthia. Love me some Nene though!

    The source said “getting into a fight with production” how does that translate into Kandi and Nene getting into a physical altercation? Furthermore i don’t see Kandi getting into a “cat fight” with anyone; not even Nene. I see them arguing a lot but that’s the full extent of it. Sorry not buying this.

    I wouldn’t put it past NeNe. She needs to have several seats calling anyone a bully. Clearly she doesn’t remember her hoodrat ghetto antics on Celebrity Apprentice. She is nothing but a big bowl of hypocrisy. Girl Bye!

      I read that the same way. I hope they didn’t resort to such foolishness. That’s part of the reason why I can still watch it. I like my ratchet lukewarm, not hot messes with physical fights. That’s such a turn off to me.

    Sometimes I do wish that someone would pop NeNe in the mouth and shut her up. You can always tell who is the most insecure person in the room. They talk too much and they talk loudly.

    I don’t even watch this show anymore. I will not be surprised if there will be some fighting and other foolishness. It is really sad that reality television has come down to this level just for ratings and people to act a fool and be ignorant.

    I hope not. I have so much respect for Kandi, and I do know that Nene can be reckless and jump in people’s faces and her hands on people (she did choke Kim) but still. Say it ain’t so, Kandi!! Say it ain’t so!!

      She has writing talent, but she is still working on her solo career! Unfortunately her voice sucks, but the show brings her more current fame with her already existing fortune!
