Until I found the cooling mist, I always thought a good sun block was hard to find. The creams leave you with an unwelcome silver superhero glow, while most sprays leave you sticky and oily. Neutrogena’s cooling mist, cools the skin on contact and doesn’t have any unpleasant after effects. While the SPF 45 version seems to work just fine, if you’re looking for an added layer of protection, the product line goes up to SPF 100.

    Yes to the Maxi dress!! On a food note, Vino Verde Is a A must in the summer. No more than 10 bucks for a bottle and it’s super crisp and fruity with great acidity!

    Seeing as how I visit the beaches in LA at least once each month, I need to make a note of that mist, and buying more maxi dresses. It’s just as you say, nothing better than a 70-75 degree day with a cool ocean breeze against your dress!

      Yes. The cooling mist is everything. Before it, I would try and avoid the sun because I didn’t want to use anything else that was already out on the market. It works!!!

    Great list! I love that you incorporated a summer read into your season essentials. In addition to what you’ve listed, I’d add a nice summer appropriate perfume! I love smelling a nice scent lingering in the summer breeze.

      Good idea. I’ve been trying to figure out what my signature scent is…never even considered the fact that I might need one for each season. Lol [also, people have scents they wear during a workout too] ….getting obsessed!
