You know when you go to your Facebook page over the summer and your friend’s visit the beach? They always have their vacation hair in! You know what I’m talking about.  I always hear similar statements like, “I have to get my hair in before I go on vacation” Some ladies only get weaves just for the summer and vacation. This is one of THE ultimate “vacation hair” styles.

It’s the summertime and it’s humid. A lot of times people don’t feel like dealing with their hair especially on vacation. You want to swim, have fun and you will be sweaty from the heat so an easy low-maintenance solution is to get extensions with all or most of your hair braided up. A beach wave type of texture is a summer favorite. Getting extensions with wavy or curly textures work well for most hair types.

Wavy Hair Types- For women with relaxed hair, ladies with a natural wave pattern, or natural ladies who don’t mind straightening their hair

If you are on the beach and are going swimming daily, you can leave it wavy. It’s so easy! After you hop out the pool or the beach, rinse your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and go on and dance the night away. You are left with nice waves that are low maintenance and easy to make your hair match.

For the evening or for that summer wedding, you can straighten the weave with ease using a Heat Protection Polisher.  Not only will it help give you a sleek look, it protects your hair from breakage and heat styling tools. Literally you have so much versatility with wavy extensions, which makes them perfect for that Caribbean vacation.

Do you get extensions for your vacations?

Thing is with this hair though is its good to wear to a non-beach vacation like vegas, europe, or some other places where you arent going for the water. I wouldnt dare getting this hair wet. I think the best way to go for a beach vaca is the more natural looking styles. The kinky twists, box braids, micro braids, etc. Its still weave but its ok to go swimming in.

Will these women be getting in any water with all that weave? Less is more. Tired of black women wearing weave down their backs.

There are numerous reasons why women (in general) wear weaves. To give their hair a break, transition from relaxed to natural, help the growing progress, change up their look, or simple because they just want to. It really isnt a big issue as long as the hair is taken care of underneath, so people need to stop making it one. Its more drastic things to worry about in this world than what a woman chooses to do with the hair on her head and with the hair her money bought

The real world does not allow a woman to wear all that damn weave.
