I really wish Bravo would go ahead and announce its cast for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta so we can all stop guessing and start getting some real details on these women. Among the rumors that Kenya Moore and Nicole Porche may be joining the cast, another name has been thrown into the mix: Atlanta socialite Jamilah Rouse.
This actually seems like a more likely choice than Nicole because according to The Buzz in the City, in 2009 Jamilah tried to launch a show called ‘Real Women Of Atlanta,’ to represent positive images of women in the ATL, which she felt RHOA didn’t provide. It may sound odd that she’d end up joining the show but we all know how a good portion of these women join these reality shows with the best of intentions yet somehow end up showing their tales when all is said and done—as evidenced by the Buzz’s report that there may have already been some drama between Jamilah and the other cast newbie Kenya. There are a few telling pics of the two at a Women’s Empowered Event that was hosted by NeNe and Cynthia, and surprisingly Nene is said to have played referee and definitely wasn’t happy about the cattiness at her event.
Not much else is known about Ms. Jamilah and from the few headshots circulating the net, it’s too soon to throw her in the smalls or talls camp. Buzz says she’s reportedly Kandi’s bestie which could put her in the former group, and also suggests she could be a cool person to watch because we all know Kandi is about business, not drama.
