Eeeww, No Thanks: Why [Some] Women Just Can’t Get Down With Male Strippers

There is virtually no way you could have avoided all the promotion for the upcoming movie, “Magic Mike.” It’s everywhere. There was that performance where the movie’s star, Channing Tatum, twerked on Elton John, there are the online campaigns, the commercials and now, the day-time tv interviews. (Did you catch True Blood cutie, Joe Manganiello side humping NBC’s Ann Curry?) They really want you to check out these fine men taking off their clothes. But I have to wonder if the movie’s creators, producers etc., realize that male strippers aren’t always that appealing to the fairer sex? Discussing the movie this morning, one of my coworkers expressed her sincerest, most passionate disgust for male strippers. I agreed. Male strippers just don’t do it for me.  But I had to ask myself why. Why can’t some women get into the waggling wang? I gave it some thought and here’s what I came up with…

    They just don’t do it for me! Don’t get me wrong, I can admire a toned (chocolate) body, but most of them can’t dance, so they look so corny. Plus, I’m too much of a germaphobe to let them get too close to me. I’m also too distracted thinking why they made this career choice. LOL. SMH.

    #1 should have been because women can see a pen1s whenever she feels like seeing one. Guys are not shy about their bodies so seeing a naked man is not all that hard to do, just ask one to take his clothes off or show you his junk (wasn’t there just an article about why guys like sending pics of their janks to unsuspecting women), if he thinks he’s working with something he’ll oblige. Why pay money for something that is not impossible to see for free. Men on the other hand are thirsty and most women aren’t walking around willing to pull out a boob or throw some cooch in a dude’s face just b/c he asked.

    This is what I tell my guy friends who are interested in going to female strip clubs: you are paying to get teased.

    I see the point in terms of straight entertainment purposes but if you are going for other reasons, you might as well stay at home and hook yourself up without dipping into your finances.

    Male strippers do not turn me on but going to the shows are pure comedy. It is fun for me and my girlfriends to watch the other female reactions to these men and the size of their “package”. A lot of the time it is a SMH moment by the way these females act as if they just came home from jail and did not see a man in years. It’s just nice to look at a well fit man though

      I’ve seen some bold men and wondered why they were strippers. No junk to speak of but were dancing around like they were proud of their little peters. It was ALL BAD.
