Watch The Thrones? Queen Bey and Kim K Party Together in the UK

When Kim Kardashian started dating Kanye West, rumors flew that Beyonce wasn’t too welcoming of her husband’s bff’s new girlfriend. Some sources say R&B’s Queen Bey even refused to be photographed with E!’s Queen K. This sounded ridiculous, yet was easy to believe considering the paparazzi stalk their every move but (except for that time they were sitting four people apart on the front row during New York’s Fashion Week) you never saw the two photographed together.

Until now.

MTV reports:

Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé got chummy while watching their men perform at a Kanye West/ Jay-Z gig in Birmingham, England, on Friday. In another photo taken Friday night, Kim looked like she was singing along while Beyonce rested her head on the reality star’s shoulder. It’s the first time Jay and Yeezy’s lady loves have been photographed together.

Though they’re both megastars in their own right, when it comes to celebrity, Beyonce and Kim are basically polar opposites. Two prime examples: the details of Beyonce’s intimate wedding to Jay Z are still mostly private while Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries was a reality show special. And back in 2008, Beyonce explained the absence of an engagement ring telling Essence: ”People put too much emphasis on that. It’s just material and it’s just silly to me.” Well, we all know Kim didn’t find anything silly about parading around town in a 20-carat engagement ring from a man she now says “bored” her. Then again, Beyonce does have a $5 million, 18-carat flawless diamond ring so maybe the two aren’t so different after all.

I’d love to hear a conversation between these two. Kim could talk about buying Ye a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 and Beyonce could one-up her by talking about the time she bought Jay a Bombardier Challenger 850 jet. They could lament over trying to find jeans that fit their small waists and big booties at the same time or what it’s like to be slightly more famous than their famous significant others.

Seriously though, they say opposites attract and this newfound friendship might be good for both of them. Beyonce could show Kim how to tone it down and embrace a little privacy and Kim could encourage Beyonce to open up more and show some personality to her fans.

No matter what, it’s great to see female celebs bonding in the spotlight and thus contradicting the popular notion that “women don’t get along”. Here’s hoping we see more of these two together.

    Kim, is beautiful and independent. Give her credit, she knows how to keep herself relevant. She has a huge fanbase. Black people can complain about her all day, she has whites, Asians, Arabs supporting her. So, she will continue to win while you sit behind the computer hating on her. Get over it. Kim, carries herself well and her show is doing well. Bey is not above anybody.

    I’m really trying to like Kim, but… IDK? I just get a fake vibe from her. Nonetheless, Bey and Kim hanging out or not hanging out is not any news. Now if Bey let Kim sing on her next album…

    People need to get past the “sex tape ” and allow her to grow. She was really good on “Drop Dead Diva”. They are all rich people hanging together while we are still on our “ramen noodle everynight budget ” worrying about Beyonce’s reputation. Please stop!

    They are picture friends, they feel this is something that the public or a certain community want/need to see for some reason. Beyonce was all over the place at one point and on my nerves much like Kim K. these days. The truth to this is that Beyonce can take a break, vacation, have a baby, and still come back with a stronger desire than before to keep her career and now legacy in order. Kim K. on the other hand has money and can do whatever she wants, but she chooses to date celebrities, or those in the public eye to keep herself relevant. Can we stop and ask, who is Kim K. without a man( especially a black man) to keep her in the media? Beyonce has a career, and Kim K. has multiple relationships:-)

    Kim K. and Beyonce hanging out is a great look. For Kim K. Don’t know how she’s doing it, but this chick stays upping her profile. First Kanye, Oprah now Beyonce. Who’s next? A pic with President Obama and the First Lady? Or dinner with Queen Elizabeth, William and Kate? Kim (and her mother) are both so thirsty for attention, approval and PRESS, they might just make it happen, smh

      I don’t think she was being phony. Bey, probably mentioned she didn’t want to be photographed, and both were trying to hide. I’m quite disappointed, when I see powerful black women stoop low. Even, when First lady said, she will like to be Bey, I was disappointed let alone Bey smiling all over Kim K. Now Oprah, is obsessed with them. I didn’t know, we were still looking for white people’s validation that bad. I know, OWN is suffering, but Oprah come up with something else.

    I hate that these stupid gossip sites are making this such a big deal! Rich people hang with other rich people. I doubt beyonce has anything against Kim k. I don’t think they will be bestfriends like Kelly and bey or bey and solo but I can see them going to lunch together or being aquaintances. It’s not that big of a deal. Bey is not Jesus and Kim k is not the devil.

      Exactly. Their men are close friends, so they will eventually hang out. They are both attention seekers and deserve each other. Bey has been getting negative feedback without Kim K. Bey probably sees Kim as gorgeous and making money, so they are both happy to be around each other.

        I know. People are all of a sudden always talking about her “gyrating” and what not. She performs as people have performed for years. Beyonce actually has a rather clean performance so I really know that these people just have to come up with something wrong with her. This isn’t coming from a stan. I still think it’s kinda shady have choreography for two of her videos were pretty much complete copies of other peoples. I know she’s not perfect, I know her s**t stinks. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Bey has a pretty clean rep and I personally think it’s a downgrade for her to be hanging out with the likes of Kim K. Stop trying to vilify this woman.

      So let me get this straight, you have your own life and yet you’re worried about Beyonce’s husband and the fact that he involves himself in various business to keep his lifestyle. You are also quoting the hospital thing when it was proven by the NY health department that the allegations were false and the people who were all over TV making those bogus claims never even bothered to file a formal complaint with the hospital. You’re also worried about her baby because she won’t show you her baby’s face. Um, you are not family and she has no obligation to show you Blue so if that makes her baby bogus, then so be it.

      Beyonce and all other Black celebs are not required to represent the Black community. You represent yourself. You all are so worried about the “sense of obligation” that celebs should have to the black community when the question is what are you doing for the black community? Meanwhile, Black on Black crime is still rising, HBCUs are losing their accreditation, and poverty within the Black community is rising. Meanwhile you are more worried about what “you let slide” in Beyonce’s life.

      If you all put as much effort in your own community as you did trying to dictate other people’s lives, the black community would be a much better place!

          I guess some people in the Black community think that just because they buy an album, they become family members. Some members of the Black community think that they are in charge of the lives of celebs and think they’re entitled to dictate what celebs can and can’t do and who these celebs can or can’t talk to. I’m also guessing that there’s some unwritten rule within the Black community that states that no Black person should ever be pictured next to Kim because if they are, they become “skeezers who have no sense of obligation to the Black community.”

          Black people need to realize that celebs are here to entertain, they’re not here to solve the problems within the Black community or any other community for that matter. You pay to hear them sing, act and entertain. Buying their movies or their albums doesn’t give you the right to tell them what they can or can’t do with their private/personal lives. No where in their job description does it state that they must have a sense of obligation to the Black community. A lot of Black people sit on blogs and complain all day about why Black celebs are embarrassing the Black community, but don’t realize that Black celebs are people too. Eradicating the problems within the Black community goes beyond celebs. People complain all day about the Black community but do absolutely nothing to eradicate the problems, instead, putting all of their hopes into celebs who came into the business to sing, act, dance and entertain. They didn’t sign up to civil rights activists and the sooner people realize that, the better!

      what rubbish. Do you have any friends who’ve had a few relationships or are divorced? Women are always calling other women harlots for something that men do all day long; apparently Jay has a child by someone else, Tupac was accused of sexual assault, Michael Jackson was married twice and accused of sexually abusing children yet we look up to them as gods. God forbid that a woman has a failed marriage or has sex with a few guys…smh
