    is it wrong to not want to get married/engaged/kids! what if that never crosses your mind..are you then not normal? my dad cheated on my mom, every guy i dated cheated, most married ask me out, so i’ve decided to not make a relationship the focus of my life, i fall in love then if it’s done i move on

    A few of the couples on here I don’t agree with. D-Wade is divorcing his wife. I mean, I GET that Gabrielle wants to get married, but if the divorce isn’t entirely final why so soon? Emily B and Fab aren’t getting married any time soon. Like Juelz and Kimbella. Both of them are beautiful and seems smart not to mention down to earth but there really is no reason for a man to marry you if your in a long term live-in relationship with him and already have his kids. It’s sort of like, your married already just not on paper. I’m not judging or at least not trying to but a lot of these women need to stop having kids without some solid commitment already in place. The whole idea of a ”race to a ring” makes it seem like regardless of it being 2012 that’s the ultimate prize for a woman otherwise everything is at a stalemate. All these women in this article excluding Kim Kardashian have something else going for them. This should mean so much emphasis shouldn’t be put on getting married. Not just in articles like this either. Disney, television in general and pop culture teach women at a young age that being married and finding prince charming solves your problems. That type of message sets a lot of women up for heartache. Just maybe that’s what the problem is,these women are waiting and waiting based on some preconceived notion about love and their own relationships will never be the way that’s been projected at them. We have to do better. Celebrity or not.

        Kimbella seems like a down to earth person. I meant it in the context of the both of them seeming to have themselves together to a point. I’ve been following Kimbella’s career for a little while and she comes off to me as a sweet person I don’t entirely understand why she got pregnant again though.

    I keep forgetting that Diddy is not with his youngest children’s mother, but when did they break up? If JLo would have him again, he’d probably marry her…or another white latina. Otherwise, I don’t think he’ll marry anybody until he’s old and farted out. She’ll be in her 20′s.

      Diddy will probably marry cassie before he marry Kim Porter. i mean why would he marry a woman who doesn’t accept his oldest daughter?

        Oh. I didn’t know all that was going on. I’m guessing he stepped out on Kim and had the daughter, right? That seems to be their history together: he leaves her for other women, she takes him back when those relationships fizzle out. No, I never expected that he would marry Kim. He doesn’t respect her; he just likes to use her.

          According to Misa, Diddy cheated on her w/ Kim. Then he started messing w/ Sarah (his 1st daughter mother). Misa left Diddy. Then Diddy was bopping between Kim, Sarah, & whoever else lol. Sarah & Kim were once friends or something like that. Sarah’s daughter is 6 months older than Kim’s twins. Diddy doesn’t respect women period. i really don’t see him marrying ever lol. But if he was to marry now, it would probably be to Cassie since Kim has stated that her kids don’t have any other sister & Diddy’s 1st daughter will never be around her kids. Diddy is too old for the player lifestyle & needs to settle down & focus on his kids

            I agree. He just seems like too much trouble. Anybody he marries is going to use a lot of tear time. I bet he’d continue seeing other women, probably openly, and whoever is with him would just be expected to deal with it.

    Brandy looks like she has a baby bump in that photo and whats with the whole Diddy, Cassie and Kim Porter triangle mmmmmh….my mama always tells me that when a man is ready to marry then he will marry…i have heard too many stories of men breaking up with their girlfriends of many years only to propose to someone they met a few months ago

    The worse thing a woman can do, is constantly put pressure on a man to marry them. If he doesn’t want to marry you there is nothing you can do. And why is there still a stigma where woman HAVE to be married, and/or have kids by a certain age. ? Let them live, not everyone wants to get married.

      You cannot put pressure on a man to marry you so so very true. BUT you have a right to have standards and expectations from a man. If you want to settle down and he is not ready and its been plenty time, its a woman’s right to leave. SHe has that right.

        I somewhat agree with your point. Where I disagree is that all too often, women don’t set those standards of how they will be treated from the beginning, move in with men, have babies, and then want to go back and expect the standards. That is the wrong way to approach the situation, especially if a woman knows she wants and/or needs that to be content in her relationship.

          If your living w/ your man, have kids together, playing house. A man may not want to marry you. Some women (& men) are in such a rush that they settle on living like a married couple rather then being an actual married couple. A lot of women just settle living w/ their man and having kids. that old saying “why buy the cow if your getting the milk for free…” At least a majority of the women on the list are just gf & don’t have kids by these men

    I dont see why people are making such a fuss about Eudoxie going to the strip club with Luda. I know married couples that do that, it would be bad if he went behind her back. Shes awesome he may not have gotten her a ring YET but he sure got her a BAD Porsche for her Birthday. I think they will be married in due time

    I don’t know why in the world you guys at madamenoire continue time after time putting these talentless, Kardashian in almost every story that you write? If seems like every time I read you website it is always somebody writing something about these Kardashians. I understand that they seemed to be popular right now, just because they are popular does not mean that you have to follow what everybody else is doing by catering to the ignorant Kardashians. If Kanye’s mother was alive, I don’t think he would even be with Kim.
    These guys are not going to get married until they are ready to get married. You cannot make a person marry you if they don’t love you or if they are not ready. In some of these cases, they should already gotten married like Neyo and his long time girlfriend since she had two of his children. Emily, Luda’s girl friend, Brandy they will be waiting for a long time for their boyfriends to marry them. Not just giving them a ring to shut them up, but to actually marry them. Brandy need to stop going around in every interview saying something about asking her boyfriend to marry, he is not going to marry her unless he is ready. To me she is really driving that guy away, if the guy does not want to get married, then just move on. Most of these women seem to be really content in being a long time girlfriend/finacee rathing getting married.

      I wish there were a spray for those Kardashians. I manage to avoid their reality show, but they’re all over the internet, and are even popping up on other shows I watch. They’re not interesting, so I don’t get the fascination with them. They’re just everywhere being seen. Can we catch a break from them?

        I’m unsure he she kept him on one track or he stayed on one track out of respect for her – but since she has gone – he has busted out and showed his azz. Unsure if its just a man’s rebellion from his mother , or his true person coming to the front

      Black women also run from marriage, which is the reason many don’t have standards for themselves. The men treats them, how they treat themselves. I hear too many black women say stuff like, they’ve been together with a man for 10years, and complain about him bringing different girls the whole time they were together. Have some respect for yourself. Black women have issue with what comes with marriage because many of them are clueless what marriage is about. So, I know some brothas who never married their babymothers or longtime girlfriend but married a non black girl they started dating. White women are all about being wife first.

          It’s crap to you because it’s the truth. Truth hurts. Go read the statistics, black women are the most single and unmarried group yet they have children out of wedlock. There was also an article that talked about how many black people especially the women who believe marriage is only for white people.
