I never saw the Rihanna/Teyana comparisons, and of course the relationship with chris purely speculation. They (rihanna included) all moved in the same circle industry wise. They have all written and produced for each other and have been on the record stating they were all friends, so it’s no surprise their styles were similar. That’s where the comparisons end.
