In South Africa we do the 3 strand plait, to get a similar effect. I have tried to do a twist, but it never comes out right…

    • UnflinchingSpirit

Thanks for this. I will try it.

  • Amija James

Oh, and next time can ya’ll use a 4a/b model?

    • Msmykimoto2u

Thank you! You never get to see those types of models hardly

    • UnflinchingSpirit

The model has 4b hair. Trust me. I have a similar hair texture and it is definitely 4b.

Loved this video – i was kind of freestyling on my two strand twists but i picked up a few pointers that I can use to get rid of the frizzies. MN saves the day again!

i like twist outs, but my hair freeforms at night after i let it dry and set it when i go to sleep. it’s damn near UNMANAGEABLE for the majority of the twist out.

      Try the

    • Amija James

Sorry, try the ORS lock and twist gel.

      • jackieOsassin

        what does it do?

        • Amija James

It’s to help hold your twists or if you’re locking it helps. It’s better than reg gel because it doesn’t dry your hair out, and it doesn’t shrink your twists up either.

I used to attempt twists/twist out, but my hair is too thin–a lot of my scalp shows and if I separate too much I get frizz. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of info out there for thin, natural hair.

But I did enjoy the video and this is a great idea for a series. I’m looking forward to the rest.

Try a braid out…its more fuller in my opinion
